1. Plaza de Espana

   Plaza de España is the largest square in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the entire Canary Islands. Constructed in 1929 the square underwent significant refurbishment in 2006 . This renovation introduced a large artificial lake. Dominating the center of the square is the Monument to the Fallen, a 25-meter high cross-like obelisk unveiled in 1947 to honor those who died in the Spanish Civil War.

2. Playa de las Teresitas

   Hi friends, our itinerary will start at your pick up locatin and will continue with Playa de Las Teresitas located in the northeast of Tenerife, near the village of San Andrés and approximately a 10-minute drive from the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The beach is characterized by its golden sands and calm, turquoise waters. Originally, the area consisted of pebbles and black volcanic sand, with strong Atlantic currents making it less suitable for swimming. In the early 1970s, to create a more appealing beach, a breakwater was constructed to protect against strong waves, and approximately 270,000 tons of white sand were imported from the Sahara Desert to cover the beach.

3. San Cristobal de La Laguna

   San Cristóbal de La Laguna is a historical city in the northern part of Tenerife. It is the old colonial capital of Tenerife and the third-most populous city of the archipelago and the second-most populous city of the island after Santa Cruz de Tenerife. La Laguna’s well preserved Old Town is one of Tenerife’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the other one being Teide National Park. We will have an hour to wander La Laguna Old Town’s cobbled streets, admiring its grand mansions which are home to chic cafes, museums, art galleries and boutiques which are great for Canarian products shopping. After an hour of light walk we will drive up Anaga Rural Park.

4. Las Montanas de Anaga

   Welcome to Anaga Rural Park! This land of mountains covered with laurel trees is Unesco World Heritage Site. We will visit a quiet place in the middle of the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, and admire the wild beauty of nature

5. Candelaria

   OPTIONAL CANARIAN LUNCH! We can have a stop for lunch at your taste.*Not included in the whole price of the tour. A traditional lunch in the Canary Islands o might begin with papas arrugadas, small potatoes boiled in salted water until their skins wrinkle, served with two types of mojo sauces: mojo verde and mojo rojo. An excellent starter is grilled goat cheese, a local delicacy where slices of goat cheese are cooked on a griddle until slightly melted and golden brown. For the main course, carne de cabra guisada is a traditional dish featuring goat meat slowly cooked with spices, vegetables, and a touch of local wine, resulting in tender and flavorful meat. Alternatively, a mixed grill offers a variety of meats, including pork, chicken, and rabbit. Seafood enthusiasts will appreciate the abundance of fresh local fish and seafood available in the Canary Islands. To accompany these dishes a great Canarian wine is recommended!

6. Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Candelaria

   Candelaria is an important pilgrim site and many of its visitors come to the Basilica to the shrine of the Black Madonna, who is the patron saint of the Canary Islands. On the square in front of the Basilica on the edge of the sea, the Plaza de Patrona de Canarias, there are 9 colossal statues of Guanche (Aboriginal) chiefs along the sea wall. The old town of Candelaria is pleasant and the main square has plenty of bars and nice shops. You can find some lovely wooden balconies typicals of Canarian architecture. There is also a nice promenade along the sea-front and a small harbour. You can visit the Cave Chapel of San Blas, the Basilica (if is open), have a coffee or a snack.

7. Los Roques is a hidden gem that offers a tranquil escape from the island's more crowded tourist areas. This picturesque village is renowned for its distinctive cave houses, structures ingeniously built into the rock formations, reflecting traditional architectural practices adapted to the volcanic landscape. These unique dwellings provide a glimpse into the island's cultural heritage and the resourcefulness of its inhabitants. Adjacent to the village lies a small yet captivating black sand beach, a characteristic feature of Tenerife's volcanic origins. The beach, is framed by impressive rock formations on either side, creating a secluded and serene environment. The dark sands contrast beautifully with the clear Atlantic waters, offering visitors a peaceful spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

8. Arico

   You should visit Arico el Nuevo for its authentic rural charm, well-preserved traditional Canarian architecture that provides a tranquil escape from the busier coastal tourist areas. Historic Village: Arico el Nuevo has been declared a historical site, known for its traditional houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, many featuring whitewashed facades and wooden balconies. Tranquility and Authenticity Peaceful Atmosphere: If you're seeking a quiet, genuine island experience away from large resorts, Arico el Nuevo offers a serene and traditional environment where villagers often gather to chat. Local Culture: The village provides a glimpse into authentic Canarian rural life, far from the bustling nightlife and large commercial centers of the south.
