Best Water-Sports in Costa Adeje 🌊
Fantastic JetSki Experience! The best in Costa Adeje… We did the 1hr Coastal JetSki trip, this was guided tour and definitely wasn’t as slow as we expected it to be. We opted for the double ski (aboard a Yamaha Waverunner), these are limited to 60kmh but still enough fun, especially as the sea was choppy… You are given a safety briefing before leaving the harbour, given life jackets and a demonstration of the skis. We opted for the picture package which was an extra €20, this was a no brainer as you could never capture these moments! The staff are very friendly and helpful, overall I would definitely recommend 🌊

Pricey but fun experience, but make sure you are prepared for quite a rough ride
We visited on Friday 29th September & Monday 02nd October 2023 initially my son went on the 40-minute Jet Ski Safari at Fanabe Beach. We paid at one hut but had to walk to the other where the jet skis were. The time riding was only 30 mins leaving and arriving back which felt a bit of a rip-off but the experience my son loved. 3 days later I paid for myself, and both my sons to have the same 40 min safari. This went less well as the rib driver went so fast from the beach to the tethered jet ski's that my son who's first time it was was spooked and decided against going for the ride. I paid 3 x 80 Euro so that was 80 Euro down the drain. As it was I really enjoyed the experience. You can pay 90 Euro and have 2 on the Jet Ski but we had 2 solos. I must admit as an unfit 54-year-old I found it quite a challenge to ride at speeds of up to 58 mph over rough seas to keep up with the tour guide. We went up the coast and stopped for photos before returning to the rib/beach. I paid 20 Euro for the photos which were well worth it. Like everything its a bit pricey but you'll remember the memory rather than the cost.

Costly, dangerous and NOT A GUIDED TOUR
It was terrible. We were given a jet ski that was old and damaged. The “guide” never turned around to check on us, our jet ski had a red warning light that flashed the whole time and we were only able to tell the guide when we stopped and he did not speak any English so we could not communicate. He kept saying “fast bike yes?” and clearly did not care about our concerns. We went full speed the whole time, only stopped for 5 minutes to take some pictures. It is definitely not a tour as we were given no information about what we were seeing/where we were going. They say it’s for everybody but don’t book it unless you’re looking to ride a jet ski at full speed basically on your own and with not support.

Worst experience
Yesterday we tried the jet ski safari. After 5 mins or so it became clear that my wife was struggling with fear. I tired my hardest to catch up with the instructor to ask for help but I couldn't go very fast as i could feel her trembling behind me. The instructor flew off and left us so I Eventually just decided to stop in the water and let him figure out for himself that he was missing someone. He eventually came back to us and my wife was on the verge of a panic attack. I asked if he could get the boat that dropped us to the jet ski to come and lift her. The answer was no. He then started taking pictures and videos of us whilst she was crying to try to sell to us. I had to drive us back very slowly hoping that a panic attack wouldn't start again and the instructor flew off again leaving us alone. We eventually got back to land and he was nowhere to be seen.

Amazing!
My first time on a jet skii and ir was fantastic! Our group leader was very kind and give us freddom to feel the jet and drive as fast as we want. Ofc there are rules to follow but freedom as well. 1 hour for me was pefect for the first time.
Response from the operator: Good morning! It has been our pleasure! We would like to thank you for having shared your own experience, and we feel glad you have enjoyed it! See you soon! Water Sports Tenerife

Why this scores 42
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tenerife Double Jet Ski Safari 1-Hour Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
