Excellent Wine Tour!
My wife and I booked the Vineyard Picnic Tour to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the 1st Wine Tour at Wilson Creek. Jerod or Jerin was an awesome wine host. The 3rd winery LORIMAR was a great end to the tour with live music and great wine tasting. Cougar Winery was somewhat disappointing. As for our driver/host, Michael Miles was exceptional. We can tell that he really enjoys what he does. The turning of the hat to signal remaining time limits was clever. We had a great time and will book another tour in the future.
Response from the operator: Thank you for celebrating your 20th wedding anniversary with Grapeline! That's a milestone worth raising a glass to. Glad to hear Wilson Creek and Lorimar were highlights of the day, and that Michael helped make the experience even more memorable. Appreciate you sharing both the highlights and the honest feedback. Here's to many more anniversaries and hopefully another wine tour in the near future. Cheers!

A great afternoon, although not quite what we expected...
First of all, I have to say that we had a fantastic time on this tour. But it wasn't quite what we expected for a 'wine tasting' experience - we thought we'd get much more information about the grapes, wines, methods of producing them, etc - but this was basically a party-bus taxi service between 3 wineries, where we were encouraged to get as much value (i.e. get as drunk as we could) from the wines on offer at each place. At one winery we got to try an unusual wine (matured in stone amphoras) but otherwise it was a case of queueing at the bar to get as many different wines as we could in the time available (1-hour plus at each location). Our host Liz was hugely enthusiastic ("There's going to be CHARCUTERIE, y'all!") and gave us a reasonable amount of information about the wineries around Temecula - she was a fantastic accompaniment to our trip, and we got to know some of our fellow tasters which was great (and the charcuterie selection WAS excellent and plentiful), but this certainly wouldn't suit someone who really wanted to find out much about the wines and their production. But if you want an enjoyable afternoon, and to drink lots, this is definitely a great time!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the 5-star rating and for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your guide, and we truly appreciate you sharing your perspective on the experience as a whole. Hearing what stood out — and what didn’t — helps us continue refining how we deliver each tour. Your comments are valued and will be taken into account as we keep elevating the experience. We’d love the opportunity to welcome you back and show you the memorable wine tour we’re known for. Cheers!

Party tour
Our DD Dave and our tour guide Liz were excellent hosts. We have taken a lot of tours around the world and this was one we will always remember. We have never had a tour guide that had so much enthusiasm for the guests to have fun Visited 3 wineries with tastings plus snacks So if you are with a group and we had a number on the tour you can expect a great experience. Much like a “Pub Crawl” but at wineries If you are more into wine tasting this tour is not for you If you have a party group ask for Liz
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so glad Dave and Liz made your tour such a memorable experience. Whether it's a wine country "pub crawl" or just a fun-filled adventure, we love bringing great groups together. Hope to see you again for another amazing time. Cheers!

Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Temecula.
How much does Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard cost?
+
Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Temecula usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Temecula is not rushed.
Is Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 68 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Temecula, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard?
+
Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Temecula can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Temecula and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Temecula Valley Afternoon Wine Tour with Tastings and Cheeseboard start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Temecula within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Temecula?
+
Temecula sells winery-hopping tours with tastings and lunch, hot air balloon flights over the vineyards at sunrise, and Old Town history and food walks. On Outty we rank every Temecula experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All Inclusive Temecula Wine Tour - Tastings, Lunch, Hotel Pickup, Authentic Cable Car Wine Tour, Temecula's Premier Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Temecula?
+
March to May and September to November; balloons fly best in calm morning air. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Temecula?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
