Disappointing
Firstly Ozzy and the driver were amazing vey welcoming and respectful. The meal was in a typical old style restaurant and was ok the food is basic as is the watered down red wine. We arrived above the clouds and saw a sunset which had beautiful colours. Then we waited for nearly 2 hours before the telescopes were set up. I saw Jupiter and that was it. The rest of the time you are literally stood looking at the stars yourselves. The telescopes there were 4 on tripods which you had to be very careful not to knock over on the dark. This is not suitable for elderly people or people who are unsteady on their feet the ground is volcanic rock extremely uneven and in the pitch black difficult to walk on . We paid €279 for this trip honestly save your money and do something else unless you like a long wait and have lots of patience and money to burn!

Absolutely breathtaking – a must-do in Tenerife
A truly magical evening under the stars at Teide. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, and the organisation was excellent. The night sky was simply stunning and made the whole experience unforgettable. Ozzy was especially brilliant, funny, quick-witted, and ironic in the best way. His humour made the evening relaxed, engaging, and great fun. Highly recommended for the whole family!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the magical evening at Teide and that the organisation and stargazing made it unforgettable. A special thanks for the kind words about Ozzy — his humour and passion truly make the experience shine. We hope to welcome you again soon!

Stargazing at its best
An interesting, if very cold, evening. Highlight was seeing Jupiter and the Crab Nebula. Entertaining & knowledgable host. Highly recommended
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the evening, especially spotting Jupiter and the Crab Nebula. It’s wonderful to know our host made the experience both entertaining and informative. Even with the chilly weather, we’re glad it was memorable, and we truly appreciate your recommendation!

Poor planning
We booked the star gazing for Saturday after seeing weather, however it was postponed on Sunday saying weather isn't good on Saturday. On Sunday we didn't see a single star because it was completely cloudy. Saturday was clear skies and we could have seen stars if it was done as we requested.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We truly understand your disappointment — it’s very frustrating when the weather doesn’t cooperate, especially for something as special as stargazing. Please note that we cannot control the weather, and safety regulations mean we must follow the official guidance of the rangers in Teide National Park when deciding whether a tour can go ahead. Even if skies may look clear in one area, conditions higher up can change quickly, which is why the tour was moved. Unfortunately, on Sunday the clouds did not clear as we had hoped. We are very sorry that you missed the stargazing experience and hope you’ll give us another opportunity in the future under better conditions.

Teide by night, very good value. Too many fact and figures at times
Great overall. Food very hot, good and tasty. Wine & beer and water included. Mt Teide sunset excellent. Driver Enrique and tour guide Ellana very professional. Bit too much commentary with facts and figures, otherwise excellent. Good value.
Response from the operator: Dears, thank you so much for your positive feedback! We hope to see you again! With Kind Regards, Tenerife Tours

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included!: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included! cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included! take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included! worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included!?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included! suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included!?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does TEIDE NIGHT, Stargazing Bus Tour, Meal & Drinks included! start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
