What you get

    About this experience

First time in Tbilisi? This is the tour you take. Discover hidden spots, hear real local stories, and taste Georgian flavors along the way — all in a relaxed small group. We explore the hidden gems of Tbilisi while stopping along the way for tastings. You’ll try a few essentials of Georgian flavors: Wine, Chacha, traditional bread, and some sweet treats. The experience starts with coffee/tea, fresh Georgian bread, then continues through local spots where we taste wine and learn a bit about Georgia’s long winemaking tradition. Along the way, we visit places you would probably miss on your own, including a stop to try homemade sweets like churchkhela. We keep things simple and authentic, with a relaxed walk, stories about the city, and just enough tastings to give you a real feel of local food culture without making it too heavy. We finish the tour with one of Georgia’s must-try dishes — khachapuri — at a local spot. Led by a local guide who knows the stories behind every street.

⭐ An Unforgettable Tour with Teona!

My three best friends and I had an amazing tour with Teona at the end of April. We explored several areas of Tbilisi, and she shared fascinating and entertaining stories about every place we visited, making the whole experience both informative and fun. We especially loved how she combined cultural and historical insights with a great sense of humor, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Teona is super charismatic, friendly, and engaging, and we highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tbilisi. We were so disappointed to miss her as a tamada, what a pity! But it's definitely something to look forward to on our next visit. Thank you, Teona, for such a memorable experience! :D

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊❤️ It was such a pleasure meeting you and your friends and spending the day exploring Tbilisi together! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed both the stories and the hidden corners of the city. For me, the best tours are the ones where history, culture, and a few laughs come together, so it's lovely to know you had fun along the way. Your kind words about my guiding style truly mean a lot. I'm especially glad that you found the experience engaging and memorable. Guests like you make my job incredibly rewarding! And yes, it's a real shame we missed the chance to share a traditional Georgian feast together with me as your tamada! 🍷🇬🇪 That just means you'll have another reason to come back. I'll be waiting with more stories, more hidden gems, and hopefully a proper supra next time. Thank you again for joining the tour, and I hope to see all four of you back in Georgia soon! ✨😊

I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Georgia and took home many wonderful memories. You're always welcome back for more hidden gems and stories! 🇬🇪✨❤️

Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tbilisi.

How much does Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group) cost?

    +

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tbilisi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group) take?

    +

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tbilisi is not rushed.

Is Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tbilisi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group)?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tbilisi Hidden Gems Walking Tour with Tastings (Small Group) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tbilisi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tbilisi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
