Great company to travel with.
My thanks to Morgan of Fun Aussie tour. I can vouch for Morgan who booked and organised extra itinerary and nights for my extended time in Hobart; everything was made easy for me, he gave good advice that made a solo traveller happy. 😃 The 6d scenic tour of Tasmania that I took last summer, provided good food and memorable sights in a short time. We were taken around the island safely by Driver Michael. Thank again Sue Sydney.

Sights to stun
We spent a great week touring with Morgan and Fun Tassie Tours. Morgan took us to sights we had not seen before and his knowledge of the landscape is amazing. His knowledge of the history of the indigenous peoples and the establishment of the Hydro Power System was incredible. We had great accommodation, some of it a bit quirky, but always clean and of a good standard. As it was a gourmet tour we were treated to some great meals and tasted a fair few wines. I would recommend this tour to all those who would like to see a different view of Tasmania. Highly recommend The Wall and the Floored History.
Response from the operator: Hi Edward061, It was a pleasure hosting you both for the week. I'm very chuffed to hear your feedback and grateful for the chance to introduce some new parts of Tasmania to you both. All the best. Morgan

Tasmania's Best sights
This was a great trip with a company who's tour guides have amazing knowledge of Tasmania. We got to see some amazing parts of Tasmania, some you wouldn't have seen travelling on your own. The small group was great, you got to know everyone very well

Brilliant Tour of Tassie
We went on a 6day tour of Tasmania with "Fun Tassie Tours" in Nov. which turned out to be extraordinary. FunTassie operates Tours in small groups which helped everyone to ask questions and take part in the dialogue on each adventure filled day usually extending from 8.30am to 5.30 pm. Our group was led by Dean who had a vast knowledge of the diverse subjects the group was interested in including the progress of Tasmania from rather difficult convict days to current times. Tour took us through very scenic countryside and to a number of wineries where we tasted a range of wines followed by sumptuous food. Further lot of historical sited were visited with Dean giving a detailed commentary on their significance. Accommodation arranged for the 6 nights was clean and of good standard. Tour booking was trouble free & we thank Morgan for the excellent work in that regard.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hobart.
How much does Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $2495 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hobart usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hobart is not rushed.
Is Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hobart, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 144-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hobart can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hobart and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tasmania 6 Day East Coast Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hobart within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hobart?
+
On Outty we rank every Hobart experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus- Return Tour (2.5 hours), All Inclusive Bruny Island Day Tour Plus Guided Lighthouse Tour, Bruny Island Traveller - Gourmet Tasting and Sightseeing Day Trip from Hobart. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hobart?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hobart?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
