Unforgettable Crossing from Europe to Africa

I had an incredible experience on my day trip from Seville to Tangier. Many thanks to Mahsa, Daniel Fernando and the rest of their team. Daniel picked me up directly from my hotel in Seville and drove me all the way to Tarifa. Along the way, he stopped at a beautiful viewpoint where he kindly took photos for me before we continued to the ferry terminal. He was very attentive and caring. He didn't simply drop me off at the port. He accompanied me all the way to the ferry entrance and made sure I understood the boarding process. When I arrived in Tangier, everything went exactly as Daniel and Mahsa had explained. I immediately found my driver and guide. The transition was completely seamless. We explored several fascinating locations throughout Tangier, including Hercules cave and the Medina. My guide took me to a very charming restaurant filled with classes where I enjoyed a delicious lunch, this was a full spread! Along the way I learned about the city's rich history and culture. It was a fantastic introduction to Morocco. I later discovered that my scheduled 6:00 p.m. ferry had been cancelled due to the weather. The team quickly arranged an alternative plan and drove me an hour to another port so I could catch a different ferry back to Spain. Because of delays with the replacement ferry, Daniel had to wait at the port for a very long time. Despite the inconvenience and the late hour, he remained patient, gracious, and welcoming. He safely drove me back to Seville and we arrived well after midnight. It was a very long day but Daniel's dedication never wavered. He genuinely cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to ensure they have a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something unique and adventurous. There is something special about leaving your hotel in Seville in the morning, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, spending the day in Morocco, and returning to Spain that same night. Traveling from Europe to Africa by ferry is an unforgettable experience and one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Even if you plan to return to Morocco for a longer visit someday, this day trip is a wonderful way to experience another country and continent in a single day. Thanks Not Just A Tourist for a truly wonderful experience!

    Highlight of our vacation!

This experience was the best! We are so grateful that Daniel Fernando was our driver. He really went out of his way to make it memorable for us. He was so flexible, stopping so we could have breakfast and where we could see Africa and where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean on the way there, all the while keeping track of the time. Then, on the way back, he took us to take gorgeous sunset pictures at the signs indicating where the oceans meet! While in Tangier, Mohammed took excellent care of us, teaching us about Moroccan culture and taking us to very interesting locations. All in all, an incredbile experience you won't forget!

Tangier Day Trip from Seville: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.

How much does Tangier Day Trip from Seville cost?

    +

Prices start at $187 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tangier Day Trip from Seville take?

    +

Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.

Is Tangier Day Trip from Seville worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 114 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tangier Day Trip from Seville?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tangier Day Trip from Seville suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 13-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tangier Day Trip from Seville?

    +

Around 40 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tangier Day Trip from Seville start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seville?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seville?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seville?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
