Long, Bur Fun and Worth It
Julian did a great job getting us from Seville to Tarifa. He even offered to help us find a restaurant when we returned late in the evening, which was a thoughtful gesture. The trip was well worth the long day. Mohammed was informative and entertaining, and the pace kept even our teenager engaged. Vendors will approach you, but a polite, firm "no" was all it took. Overall, a great experience and well worth the time and money.

Great day trip
We were recommended through our apartment and it was a great day trip we thoroughly enjoyed it. Rachid the guide in Tangier was so funny & informative he honestly made the trip! The stops on the way were a bit short we wish we had more time only 10 mins each and camel riding was €2 extra, but overall a great experience

Great tour with an excellent guide.
Excellent guide, Racheed was an excellent tour guide who knew the city in and out and was quite funny. It was definitely a good choice to see Tangier with a tour group, as I would not have been able to experience the crowds and atmosphere the same way we did with the tour guide. The group was large, but it worked out well. It was a long day, we departed from Seville at 7:00, and arrived back in Seville at 23:00 but it was well worth it. The ferry also was very nice, there is a great cafeteria on board with excellent food. Our experience was awesome. And overall it was worth the price.

An amazing experience.
The tour is educational and entertaining. Our tour guide Ashid was full of humour and knowledgeable. Highly recommended to friends and family.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
🚨 A COMPLETE DISASTER: Avoid This Tour at All Costs! 🚨 If you are looking for a stressful, unorganized, and agonizingly long ordeal, then by all means, book this tour. We booked an English-speaking day trip from Seville to Tangier, and it quickly devolved into a logistical nightmare. Let's start with the sole saving grace of the entire day: Rashid, our local guide in Tangier. Rashid was fantastic. He was professional, attentive, and actually cared about our experience. When our time in Tangier was over, he walked us all the way back to the ferry and stayed with us until we safely passed the first checkpoint. He was the only bright spot in an otherwise miserable day. Everything else handled by this company was an absolute joke. Our initial guide gave us absolutely no instructions on what to do once we boarded the ferry to Tangier. To make matters worse, they didn't even bother staying with us until we cleared the first part of the ferry process. We were completely left to fend for ourselves. The Cave of Hercules was included on the itinerary, and it was the biggest, most underwhelming tourist trap I have ever seen in my life. Skip it. The real nightmare began when we sailed back to Spain. When we docked in Tarifa, there was absolutely no one waiting to guide us back to the bus. We had to rely on pure luck, deciding on a whim to walk back to the original drop-off point just to see if the bus was there. Remember, we explicitly booked and paid for an "English" tour. On the return journey, absolutely no one on the staff spoke a word of English. Then out of nowhere, the driver informed us that we were making an unannounced detour to drop people off in Cadiz. At the start of the day, we were explicitly promised we’d be back in Seville between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Instead, we made three separate stops in Cadiz. What should have been a straightforward 1-hour-and-45-minute drive turned into a grueling 4-hour hostage situation. To add insult to injury, during this massive 4-hour delay, we were offered no water, no bathroom breaks, and absolutely no food or snacks. It was completely miserable. When the bus finally dragged itself back into Seville, the driver made another random, unannounced stop. Realizing how incredibly late it was, we ended up just hopping off right there because it happened to be marginally closer to where we were staying. Because of the massive delays caused by this company, we were stranded in Seville past midnight. At that hour, there were zero taxis available and no food options open. We had to walk 30 minutes back to our accommodation on empty stomachs, completely exhausted, and thoroughly disgusted by how we were treated. This company is unprofessional, unorganized, and has zero regard for customer service or basic human comfort. Rashid deserves to work for a much better agency. Do not waste your money or your precious vacation time on this nightmare. **0/5 stars.**
Response from the operator: Hi, thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear the experience was, in your opinion, underwhelming. We took notes of the comments you shared with us and we're going to deep into them with our staff to ensure we keep delivering nothing but the best experiences for our guests. Kind regards from Sevilla.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.
How much does Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $259 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide take?
+
Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.
Is Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 77 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 13-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide?
+
Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tangier (Morocco) Day Trip from Seville with Local Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seville?
+
On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seville?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
