    Sydney highlights tour

Had a great day with Ben, picked us up from the airport in the morning and showed us the sights before dropping us off at the hotel for check-in. Ben’s knowledgeable and I highly recommend a tour with his services.

Response from the operator: Hi Nathan and Lisa, Was lovely meeting you both and introducing you both to Australia on a great day in Sydney. Hope you return and can spend some more time with you both on another day tour from Sydney. Best regards, Ben

A perfect way to explore Sydney!

Owner, Ben Barry, picked us up in front of our hotel in his clean and comfortable vehicle and took us around all of the areas in Sydney. This is a perfect way to explore the city without crowds and was just what I needed with a bad back and using a cane. He was able to safely and carefully drive the city, answer any questions, and slowly cruised by or even stop by any points of interest that we wanted. This is his full-time job which supports his family, not something he does part-time. He has owned this business for 20 years. It was easy to contact him and ask questions through the Internet and found him to be quickly responsive to our inquiries. His prices are listed in Australian dollars, not US dollars so this is even more affordable than you might think. He made arrangements for a shared lunch at a lovely restaurant on the water. He took pictures of us and knew the best spots to take great pictures. This is the perfect way to spend your time in Sydney. If you’re only here for a short visit or the perfect way to start an informed longer visit.

Response from the operator: Hi Deb and Jay, What's better than spending a sunny day seeing the sights and hidden waterfront suburbs of Sydney - home to the world's prettiest harbour and over 250 beaches? And how nice was our lunch with 'that view'? Thanks for your nice words and such a memorable day, and hope to see you or any visiting friends or family in the future. Best regards, Ben

Personalized tour of the Sydney Sights

A great full day tour personalized to suit my available time while covering the key sites and some beautiful scenery around Sydney city, beaches and suburbs. It included pickup and drop off at my hotel which was convenient for me. I learnt a lot about the history, significance of various iconic suburbs, locations and historical building/monuments on the tour. We also had time to enjoy a great lunch in Manly. A very knowledgeable and flexible tour guide - happy to recommend this tour guide.

Response from the operator: Hi Helen, Thanks for our epic adventure from Sydney to the eastern beaches, Bondi to Manly and the northern beaches. Feel free to keep in touch for a tour to another area around Sydney. Best regards, Ben

The tour was amazing, Ben was very accomaditing with our request to change the itenary to our liking. Ben stayed with us all day and shared his knowledge of all the places we visited. Highly recommended this company, will definitely book another tour when we come to Sydney again. Ben made us feel like we are friends and very comfortable to be with. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful city with us.

Response from the operator: Hi Rocaya and girls, It was wonderful to meet you all from our adventure from Parramatta to the city and beyond to Sydney's beaches and bays. I'm glad you took a lot out of the tour and hopefully were able to go back and explore those pretty coves for a swim with the boys. Thanks again and hope we can reconnect. Go the Swans! Ben

Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sydney Shores and Suburbs- Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
