    Lovely tour

We enjoyed the bus tour on a nice evening. Seeing the lights was lovely. Regretfully we did not get time to do the same tour in the daytime.

A fun and informative night tour

What a terrific tour! Just the right length and so informative. Our guide Stephen gave us plenty of little tidbits about what we were seeing, and lots of suggestions for places to visit. The stops for photos at the Botanic Gardens and Kirribilli were a good chance to stretch our legs and enjoy the wonderful harbour views. Thanks for a fun evening!

Very good tour after rocky start

Booked on the website luckily as some people had issues with tickets bought through another source. We arrived with party of four adults and four children aged 13, 11, 8 and 5. Arrived at 5:40 for the six o’ clock bus. Upstairs had seats however they were scattered over the top of the bus and it was suggested that we wait for the second bus coming at 6pm. Big issues with the second bus as it didn’t turn up. The guide did but the bus didn’t. It had broken down somewhere and with some people getting agitated the situation was unfortunate. Special mention and thanks has to go to Raven who was calm and controlled in this situation and very patient with customers who had trouble with their tickets as they purchased through another supplier. Raven did her utmost to find the bus and sort a positive result for all. The tour guide also helped and was abused by one man also waiting for the bus. Big bus tours may receive unfavourable reviews however I want to stress that everything that could be done was being done. The bus turned up around 7. The tour was very good with our tour guide being very informative.

Response from the operator: Hello Cheryl, thank you for taking the time to write a detailed and thoughtful review. The start to your tour is not the experience we strive to deliver but we are so pleased that we could turn it around for you, and that you and your party enjoyed the tour. When unexpected situations arise, we work hard to get things back on track and make sure everyone is taken care of, and we are glad we could do that in this case, particularly for your children. We will be sure to pass your comments along to Raven and our guides Stephen and John. Best Wishes from Big Bus Sydney

Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide?

    +

Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sydney Panoramic Big Bus Night Tour with Live Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
