Must do in Sydney!
We had a great time on the 100 year old ship! The views were unbeatable, food was delicious and we were even allowed to help with setting the sails.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you had a great time aboard our 100-year-old ship. It's fantastic to hear you enjoyed the stunning views, delicious food, and even had the chance to help set the sails—that's always a memorable part of the experience! We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back on board for another adventure soon. Kind Regards, Sydney Harbour Tall Ships

Delightful Authentic Australian Evening Sailing on the Harbor
Traveling with a teen and tween, I wanted them to appreciate the history and culture of Australia as well as the see the visually stunning harbor, not just 'go on a boat'. The ship is an authentic trading vessel and my children could hoist the sails and climb the mast (with safety equipment, of course). My daughter was atop the ship as we passed under the Sydney Harbor bridge in an unforgettable experience. We sailed around to Darling Harbor and paused for sunset and evening photographs around the harbor and Opera house. The staff were knowledgeable about the history of the trading routes and early colonies of Australia, also trained sailors who take out school groups. It was a perfect blend of sightseeing, education and the unique experience I was looking for. There's a lovely bar and dinner is served in the authentic ship's wooden galley - simple but tasty and nutritious. Definitely a step up from a ho hum touristy harbor cruise.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled that you and your family enjoyed such a unique experience aboard our tall ship. It's fantastic to hear your children embraced the adventure of hoisting the sails and climbing the mast, and what an incredible memory for your daughter to be at the top as you sailed under the Sydney Harbour Bridge! We're so pleased that our crew's passion for Australia's maritime history, combined with the beauty of Sydney Harbour, gave you the perfect mix of education, adventure, and sightseeing. Thank you for your kind words about the food and crew as well. We hope to welcome you all back aboard for another unforgettable sail! Kind Regards, Sydney Harbour Tall Ships

Advertised as 2 hours...
Advertised as 2 hours cruise, in fact just an hour. We were not brought to any places of interest just stop at the middle of the harbour and had some low budget food. And returned to Campbell cove. That is the entire journey for $90 per person.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. Our cruise is designed to provide a relaxing harbor experience rather than a guided sightseeing tour, but we understand that the duration and itinerary may not have been communicated clearly. We sincerely apologize if the trip felt shorter than advertised or did not deliver the value you were expecting. Your comments about the food and overall experience are also noted, and we will be reviewing these areas with our team to ensure improvements are made. Kind Regards, Sydney Harbour Tall Ships

Tall Ship Tour
This was our first time on a tall ship. The crew was attentive and pleasant. The weather wasn’t great, but we still got some beautiful pictures of the sunset behind the Sydney Bridge. We were very close to the Opera house which was gorgeous when lit up for the evening. The dinner was average. However the trip itself was worth it!!
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re so glad to hear your first tall ship adventure was a memorable one and that our crew made you feel well looked after. Even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate, it’s great to know you were still able to capture some beautiful sunset moments and enjoy those iconic views—Sydney Harbour really does shine in the evening. We appreciate your honest feedback about the dinner as well. We’ll certainly take that on board as we continue to improve our overall experience. Thanks again for sailing with us—we’d love to welcome you back on board for another trip in the future! Kind Regards, Sydney Harbour Tall Ships

Good value for money...
Good value for money experience. Food was okay-just some buttered chicken with some greens but reasonable price for the experience so was worth it overall.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you found the experience to be good value for money. We appreciate your honest thoughts about the food and will keep working on improving both variety and flavor. Hope to welcome you again soon for an even better experience! Kind regards, Sydney Harbour Tall Ships

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 489 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise?
+
Around 171 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
