Amazing experience well worth the money
What a great way to see the best of Sydney from the sea and enjoy top class food at the same time. Intimate experience with super knowledgeable guide in Finn and a beautiful boat. We went to 2 amazing restaurants right by the sea where we were dropped off by the boat and walked to the doors by Finn. Great food, ambience, service and fab tables at both of them.

Perfect Day on the Harvor
We boarded the vessel right on time. Our guide, Ned, was very helpful. He gave us a safety briefing, showed us the sights, offered us drinks and answered a million questions. We were blessed with perfect weather for viewing the sights and traveling across the harbor. Our trip progressed as described in the itinerary. Our first lunch stop was Doyle’s restaurant. Doyle’s is over 100 years old. There was a great selection of appetizers to choose from as well as a wonderful view of Watson’s Bay with Sydney in the background. Our second stop at Balmoral Beach was Public Dining. Again, we had a wonderful selection of main dishes to choose from and a nice view while dining. We finished our progressive lunch with a cheese board for dessert while cruising back to the Circular Quay drop off point. The pacing of the day was perfectly timed and we enjoyed it immensely.

We’re thrilled to hear you had such a perfect day on the Progressive Long Lunch Cruise from the smooth boarding and great service to the delicious meals and stunning harbour views. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed each stop and found the day perfectly paced. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back on board again soon for another unforgettable experience on Sydney Harbour!

A perfect Sydney Harbour afternoon..
The Captain and Tour Guide were knowledgeable and friendly and did everything possible to make our day lovely. Only having six of us on board really added to the tailored experience.. And the food! And Champagne! Beyond expectations! Add in perfect weather and we couldn’t ask for more.
Response from the operator: Hi Susan, Thank you so much for this kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed this cruise, our crew's hospitality and of course the food!

Fabulous!
Fantastic day out on the water seeing the harbour and visiting two excellent restaurants. A must do in Sydney. The crew were superb; friendly, professional and informative. Timings were excellent and the whole day ran smoothly. A day we will never forget.

Nice and relaxing cruise
This was our 3rd (I think) Long lunch cruise with my wonderful friend Amber. We thought ( per our last 2 cruises) that the cruise was to be private( ie; 2 of us plus the cruise crew, but it wasn't, we had 4 other people. ) . Otherwise, the 2 lunches and cruise itself was fantastic.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $689 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sydney Harbour Progressive Long Lunch Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
