    Superb experience

Long but great day out especially with Gordon our driver and guide who was fabulous. Pick up was on time and efficient. Explanations of the times and drop offs was excellent and the group was back on time so that helped make a good day. Sydney zoo was, unexpectedly, a great stop off just enough time to see various things, queues relatively short considering was school holidays. Blue Mountains were beautiful as the bright sunny day helped and Gordon took us to various lookouts for some excellent shots and informative commentary. Scenic World trips/rides were efficient and entertaining and added to the experience. As expected lots of walking, steps and irregular surfaces so those of poor mobility probably not suitable for parts although someone on our trip had a walker and managed some of the activities.

    Sydney's best experiences

Sota-san and Jojo-san, the guides, were very kind and attentive. Especially, Souta-san explained the history, including historical facts, and made the history of Australia easy to understand. In Lula, I was told about so many delicious restaurants, so I was able to efficiently visit chocolate shops, cafes, and bookstores. Next time, I think I'll bring my family, and I'd like to ask for Souta-san's guidance again. And the view of the Blue Mountains was wonderful and scenic, and the cable car in Scenic World was thrilling, and the view was so good it was moving! 66 years old female

It was a very satisfying tour.

At the Sydney Zoo, in addition to the typical zoo animals like lions and elephants, I could also see various animals representing Australia, such as kangaroos, koalas, quokkas, and emus!!I am very satisfied because I was able to take pictures with a koala. I was very impressed by the magnificent views from several observation decks in the Blue Mountains. The cloudy day with a light mist also had its own charm and was moving. Also, the attraction where you ride a trolley down a steep slope of 45° to 64° slowly was also the best. On the ropeway, we could see right through the middle of the ground, and we were able to experience the thrill of having a full view of the scenery below. Since it is far from the center of Sydney, I felt that visiting it as part of a tour would be the most enjoyable way. Also, the guide was polite and friendly, and kept talking to us, so we enjoyed the whole trip.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World cost?

    +

Prices start at $134 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World take?

    +

Plan for about 10.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 10.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Chef-Led Hunter Valley Gourmet Food and Wine Day Tour from Sydney, Ultimate Sydney Walking Tour (Small-Group, Drink Included). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What happens to Sydney: Blue Mountains, Zoo Koala Photo & Scenic World if the weather is bad?
