Fab surf school 🤩
I had 2 really great lessons with this school over 2 days. It was too windy to surf at Sanur, so they provided transport to Kuta in the price. I have surfed before but needed help with turning. Alan my teacher was great, he explained everything really well and helped me so much. I would highly recommend them to other people 🤩

Great family experience
We had a great family experience here as beginners with our two kids. The instructors were really friendly and kept a close eye on the children the whole time, which made us feel comfortable out in the water. It was a pretty flat day, but they still knew where to take us to find some small waves that were perfect for learning. One tip — make sure you’re a confident swimmer in the surf, as your arms can get pretty tired paddling for waves if you’re not used to it. Overall a really enjoyable first surfing experience for our family. Dad 44, son 12 and daughter 15

We loved it ! A good activity to do !
They picked us up on time at our hotel. The staff was professional and caring (they advised us to put more sunblock and provide us their sunblock which was really efficient). The coaches are nice and really patient. We had a wonderful experience and we will probably see them again if we have the chance to come back.

Total rip off!
The sufing class at Legian beach was fine, but the price was a total rip off. We paid 3,5 mill IDR for 3 people (1 mill IDR was for the pictures). At another school we paid 550 000 IDR for same class 3 people, pictures included. Yes Rip Curl has certified instructors, insurance and transportation included, but that isnt worth the difference. I just feel stupid and robbed since i paid that much.

We offer certified instructors, our surf coaches are International Surf Association instructors and each holds the International Bronze Medallion Certification for lifeguarding, insurance, transportation, equipment, fresh water during the session, Rip Curl Rash shirt, Rip Curl Legging, Rip Curl Booties (reef shoes), Gath surf helmet, Changing room facilities, Bathroom, Water showers, Fresh towel, Zinc & Fresh Fruits after lesson, which accounts for the price difference. We do not compromise on quality and safety, and we believe our services are priced fairly for what we provide. Accusing us of robbery is unfounded and unfair. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch experiences and transparency in our pricing. If you were unsatisfied, we wish you had raised your concerns directly with us during your visit. We believe these elements significantly enhance the quality and safety of the experience we provide. Feel safe in the water and progress with surfing
I tried a few instructors with different companies while in bali, but finally got Budi as my instructor from Rip Curl. He was very patient with me and made me feel safe in the water even with the waves crashing down on us. I made progress and I’m happy with the experience. Big thumbs up and definitely will enroll into Rip Curl again on my next trip.
