Amazing hike in Sunshine Meadows!
This was my second hike with Michelle as a guide and, once again, she was very knowledgeable and super friendly. She was always ready to answer the questions from the people and made sure everyone was happy! The hike is quite easy and the scenery along the way is awesome. Perhaps it could be a little longer. I highly recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! Happy to hear you enjoyed your day with us. The Sunshine Meadows area is truly beautiful, and I agree it feels like there's never enough time to enjoy it all. We appreciate your recommendation!

Sunshine Meadows Hike
The sunshine meadows tour with White Mountain adventures was fantastic!! Kohei Yokura and Dan Cherry did a great job leading us on the hike and providing info about the Banff! They were both very personable, funny and accommodating and always offered to help in any way possible. This hike made our trip in Banff wonderful! If you’re looking for a fun and memorable experience I would strongly suggest this hike. Both Dan and Kohei were phenomenal tour guides!!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We are glad to hear that Kohei and Dan added so much to your experience. It is my pleasure to pass along your kind words to them. We appreciate your recommendation, and invite you to reach out to us again on your next trip to Banff.

Great hiking in the meadow
The small group of the hiking in Sunshine Meadow was fantastic. It should have been rated 5 if I knew ahead of time that the pickup time was delayed
Response from the operator: Hi Yuko, Thank you for your review, and happy to hear your enjoyed your day of hiking with us at Sunshine Meadows. I'm sorry to hear about the pick up delay. With multiple pickups scheduled on daily tours, we do our best to stay on the predicted timeline. The rockies brought to Life by Brian
We had an unforgettable full day experience with Brian from White Mountain Adventure in Banff! He guided us through Sunshine Meadows and made the walk truly special (this despite 3 weeks extensive road trip & hikes from BC to Alberta). His deep knowledge of the local flora and passion for the alpine environment brought every step to life. We discovered so many beautiful plants and hidden details we would have missed on our own. Brian’s friendly personality and storytelling made the hike both educational and fun. Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the magic of the Rockies in a unique and memorable way! We learned so much from Brian and are grateful for such experience

Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Banff.
How much does Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy) cost?
+
Prices start at $206 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Banff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy) take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Banff is not rushed.
Is Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Banff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy) suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy)?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Banff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Banff and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunshine Meadows Vistas - Guided Hike (Easy) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Banff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Banff?
+
On Outty we rank every Banff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Icefields Parkway Full-Day Tour, Hop-On and Hop-Off Banff Bus, ShuttleBus 2way Banff to Lake Louise (1Hr) and Moraine Lake (1Hr). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Banff?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Banff?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
