Definately worth the money
We did this tour last week.....our German guide Nick (he said that was his Greek name!) was brilliant, loads of knowledge and really good fun. You see loads in a relatively short space of time and learn a lot. And thank you to 'Nick' for the recommendation of where to enjoy a drink whilst watching the sunset away from the crowds.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and had such a great time with Nick. We’ll be sure to pass on your kind words—he’ll be thrilled to know that his knowledge, humour, and enthusiasm made the experience so enjoyable. It’s wonderful to hear that you were able to see and learn so much in a relatively short time. And we’re especially glad that Nick’s recommendation helped you discover a quieter spot to enjoy the beautiful Santorini sunset away from the crowds! We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Santorini’s Ambassador Trip
This is a must do trip to see the “other” side of Santorini, with this said … our Guide - Maria! If ONE person must stand out as ambassador for this magnificent island and its gorgeous people it surely must be Maria. Her passion for the people, history and the island itself elevates this trip way beyond “just” a trip. (Pro tip: count those Lemon trees 😉) Oh yea, there was the sunset too…Do not miss the sunset view from Oia!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed discovering the “other” side of Santorini and that Maria made such a strong impression with her passion and knowledge. It’s great that the sunset in Oia was also a highlight of your trip. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon!

Santorini island tour by Bus
Santorini Island Tour with Eliza and George - fantastic island tour on a bus. Eliza was informative about the places we were visiting and provided clear instructions on when we needed to be back at the bus. We got to see a lot of places in one day, topped off by the famous sunset at Oia. Would recommend Kamari tours.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a fantastic experience on our Santorini Island Tour with Eliza and George. Eliza will be so pleased to know her guidance and clear communication made your day smooth and enjoyable, and we’re equally proud of George for providing a safe and comfortable ride through Santorini’s unique roads. It’s great to know you appreciated the variety of stops and that the iconic Oia sunset was a memorable highlight. We aim to show our guests the very best of the island in one well-organized day, and your feedback means a lot to us. Thank you again for recommending Kamari Tours — we hope to welcome you back on another tour soon!

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $21 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 56 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset In Oia & Santorini Traditional Villages Bus Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
