Misleading, Poor Food, Awful pick up drop off!!! Book Elsewhere
sells you a sunset romantic experience, however its not the case. 55 people packed onto the boat, feels very crowded. Food is fine, nothing to go crazy about, get the pork, the chicken was awful. it says a stop at a mud bath, thats wrong, we never stopped at one. also the don't like you swimming away from the boat you have to stay very close to it which is a bi disappointing if you'd like to swim to the shores. loud music constantly, more of a party boat vibe than anything else. they dont even pay for spotify premium so ads play every 10 minutes or so. The worst part by far is the pick up, we got picked up and left at a ferry port, in 30+deggree heat for over an hour with zero explanation of what was going on. zero seating, it was awful. on top of that, we got dropped off with zero instructions, just a load of random buses we had to figure out which one was ours. Not a good experience at all, it cost us £200!!! not worth it at all. If you want a sunset tour, book one with less people and a better service Will not be using this one again.

Great day out
This was a great day plenty of drinks and food for lunch. The travellers got into the music as well. A well mixed age group.

Worth every penny
Huge credit to Sunset Oia for the organisation of the Catamaran tour. Our experience was absolutely worth every penny, as we had endless access to drinks at no extra cost, the BBQ lunch was delicious and the crew were very hospitable. The swimming spots were perfect for a mix of passengers of all ages and backgrounds.

Sunset wasn’t over Oia...
Sunset wasn’t over Oia like the cruise title. The boat was very close to the port. Disappointing to say the least. And no snorkeling.

Definitely we will come again
Captain Kostas, Daima, Kaiser and Taylor were amazing. We had really fun time with them as they were explaining and talking us around the Caldera. We will definitely recommend them to our friends! - Christina

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 1,198 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks?
+
Around 419 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
