Marrakesh quad biking in the desert - aggressive tour guide left us stranded
We did the Marrakech: Agafay Desert Quad & Camel Rides with Dinner Show. Absolutely terrible and traumatising activity. We had a horrid tour guide called Houcine, whose behaviour throughout the experience was unacceptable, aggressive, and left our group feeling intimidated and unsafe. Before we had even boarded the coach, Houcine shouted at me during a phone call. When we arrived at the departure point, he began driving away before all members of our group had boarded the coach, leaving several people behind. Those of us who had already boarded asked if we could get off the coach so that we could remain together as a group. Rather than responding professionally, Houcine became increasingly aggressive in both his tone and body language. One member of our group responded rudely during the exchange, but she later apologised sincerely for her behaviour. Despite this apology, Houcine stated that he would not allow us to get off the coach until we reached the desert, where he said we could "get a taxi back." At the first stop, the argan oil cooperative, another friend and I approached him calmly to apologise again on behalf of our friend and to try to resolve the situation. Instead, he became even more aggressive, repeatedly shouting that he did not care. He instructed us to wait outside the argan oil cooperative and find our own way back. He also accused one member of our group of "thinking he was a strong man and the leader of the group" because he did not like the way he was looking at him. This was particularly concerning because that individual had been standing quietly at the back and had not spoken or been involved in the disagreement. When I asked one of the staff members at the argan oil cooperative if she could provide the number for a local taxi, she began helping me. Houcine immediately intervened, shouting at her and telling her not to assist us. He then told us that because we had "disrespected" him, we should stay there, find our own way back, and that he would not help us. He also said that he did not care what happened to us. Considering that we were a group of five tourists in a foreign country, this was extremely distressing and irresponsible. He continued shouting aggressively and warned one of my friends that he "better watch out." Houcine then left us stranded in a remote location with no assistance or guidance. We had no option but to walk along the road until, fortunately, a kind local man offered to ride his motorbike to the nearest village to find us a taxi. Throughout this time, Houcine remained by the parked coach watching us. His behaviour made me feel genuinely frightened and vulnerable. Being abandoned in an unfamiliar, isolated location by the person responsible for our safety was completely unacceptable. When the taxi eventually arrived and we left, I noticed Houcine taking a photograph of the taxi as we drove away. This further heightened my anxiety, as I had no idea why he was doing so and was concerned about our safety. I find it shocking that a legitimate tour company would allow one of its guides to behave in this manner. At no point did our group threaten him or behave in a way that justified being abandoned in a remote location. We simply requested to leave the coach so that our group could stay together. His response was disproportionate, intimidating, and completely unprofessional. I am still completely in shock that he left in the desert, not caring what happened to us and also being intimidating at the same time.

Ask for Dallas
I highly recommend this excursion! I was a little reluctant about purchasing with the length of time and price but extremely impressed afterwards. You can’t beat the price of this package with all the activities. Dallas was excellent too! He not only is a good tour guide but a person of integrity. I left my passport with my credit card and money on the bus. He met me at a hotel the next day to bring it to me and everything was still there. He even declined a tip. I would do this trip again but also consider anything else provided by this company because of my positive experience.

The team that made our tour was amazing. We came to the Agafay desert walking camel, dining and watching the fire show. They have always been available and in good disposition. It was very good!!

Run away! Scams in sight
A FUÏRE!!! We had booked an excursion to the Agafay desert for Sunday 16 02 26 with a departure at 4pm. At midnight and 33 minutes we receive a first message whatsapp (message subsequently deleted) that asks us to present ourselves at 3:15 p.m. instead of appointment. Then Sunday 16 at 8:43, a man named Ayoub who signs at the end of the message Lmlalli asks us to present ourselves instead of meeting at 2:15 p.m. instead of the 15:15 originally planned. It pretexts the time change and the conversation begins to fester. After we warned the platform "Get your guide" of this questionable exchange, the individual Lmllali delights and finally offers us a care at 3:15 pm. In the meantime, the platform confirms us by copying the Moroccan service provider that the departure is at 4pm. In the end, we waited for the driver and guide from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. No one came to take care of us. The excursion that cost us more than 65 euros passed in front of us. We've made a claim. However, there is a good chance that the Get your Guide platform and the Moroccan guide smile provider will pass the ball on to each other and that neither will compensate us.

Amazing experience! We shared an unforgettable time with family! The excursion in the Agafay desert with the dmen quad and camel ride went very well! Then we were allowed to visit a small natural cosmetics shop with explanations of the making before returning to the desert for dinner and show! Thank you Brahim for your kindness!
