On the road from Angkor Wat, this is the good point of entry to the city for more visitors. All five gates similar, but the south Gate has been the most extensively restored and the it the most complete, this place your tour guide will take about 15 minutes explanation before continue to visit Bayon temple

Bayon Temple
Bayon temple is sufficiently compact to encourage any order of visit, particularly as the absence of a surrounding wall make it easy to enter the temple. The confusion of the inner enclosure, with its narrow chamber corridors and stairway, giving occasional surprise glimpses of the enigmatic faces, is itself a fascinating experience. You will learn from your tour guide a lot from your tour guide.

After exploring the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long but fulfilling day, which will leave you with a lifetime of memories of one of the wonders of the world. Banteay Srei
Considered by many to be the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art, Banteay Srei is cut from stone of a pinkish hue and includes some of the finest stone carving anywhere on earth. Begun in 967 CE, it is one of the smallest sites at Angkor, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in stature. The art gallery of Angkor, this Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva is wonderfully well preserved, and many of its carvings are three-dimensional. Banteay Srei means ‘Citadel of the Women’, and it is said that it must have been built by a woman, as the elaborate carvings are supposedly too fine for the hand of a man.

Amazing day. Amazing guide
Tann was an amazing guide through the day. His knowledge, guidance, expertise and sense of humour plus a great eye on the camera made the experience even better. We spent a full day with him, from sunrise (Angkor wat), to Ta Phrom, Bayon, lunch stopping on a side market for rice cakes and palm juice. And the afternoon trip to the pink temple. He made the day zoom by and never felt long or boring. Though the day was long it was totally worth it. Thank you
Response from the operator: Dear Christian s, Thank you so much for your kind review! We're excited to hear that Tann provided you with an amazing experience during your full-day tour. His knowledge, guidance, expertise, and sense of humor truly enhanced your time together. We're glad that Tann's photography skills also added to the overall experience. It sounds like your itinerary was well-planned, from the sunrise at Angkor Wat to the visits to Ta Phrom, Bayon, and the pink temple in the afternoon. We're delighted to know that Tann's company made the day fly by and kept it engaging throughout. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we appreciate your recognition of the value and worth of the tour. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to see you again in the future! Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunrise in Angkor and Banteay Srei Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampong Phluk Floating Village Tour by Boat, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap, Angkor Wat Sunrise & 3 Main Temples – Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
