Great Tour but scammed by Brandon

We really enjoyed and loved the tour but the sales rep operating at the beach named BRANDON that sold us the tour ended up scamming us. Brandon owed us $95 as our Zipline expedition was mysteriously cancelled whilst we were on the way to it. He then asked us to reduce what we owed him down to $75 to compensate him for the taxi drive to and from the cancelled Zipline expedition. On our final day when we asked Brandon to pay us back, he agreed to meet us at noon at the hotel. At noon he stopped responding to messages and calls, until 2 when he said he would come by 2:30. He again went quiet, until 3pm, at which point he said he will come by 4. After that I never heard from Brandon. Until today - two days after we’ve left - he’s called me to curse and insult me for leaving a complaint with the hotel reception. Incredibly poor form. The tours are incredible and definitely worth doing, but please steer clear of Brandon if you can.

Response from the operator: This is an incredibly falsified review as it doesn't state alot of details and businesses conducted during that transaction which led to such an unpleasant experience...please make mention that the deposit was offered to be refunded immediately where as you waited on departure day when I'm away from the site to seek compensation which was never refused until you got disrespectful and involved family....The motto is good business or no business so for any future bookers e.g the online booking that came in minutes ago I look forward to serving you with respect pride and diligence, Thank you

Random meet up turns into unforgettable experience

My entire trip it St. Lucia changed after meeting Brandon at the Beach in Rodney bay. He offered a boat tour that was very reasonably priced that included snorkeling, bathing at the sulfur spring and a trip to the waterfalls, this was also food and drinks inclusive. The experience was amazing to say the least and it was very well packaged and paced. I would recommend reaching out to Brandon (Tek-a-way Vacations) before getting to St. Lucia, he knows all the hot spots, events and activities that would take your trip to the next level!

Brandon from Tek-a-way vacations was very knowledgeable and friendly. He ensured that our team got to explore and be mesmerized by the natural beauty of St. Lucia. I would recommend him anyday to anyone that's visiting St. Lucia and wants to see a gem of the Caribbean (St. Lucia)

Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marigot Bay.

How much does Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marigot Bay usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marigot Bay is not rushed.

Is Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Marigot Bay, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marigot Bay can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marigot Bay and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sulphur Springs and Waterfall or Piton and Beach Boat Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marigot Bay within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marigot Bay?

    +

On Outty we rank every Marigot Bay experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jeep & Zipline Adventure in St. Lucia, Private St Lucia Drive-In Volcano, Mud Baths & Waterfall, Lucia Private Boat to Soufriere Snorkeling Sightseeing Beach. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marigot Bay?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marigot Bay?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
