Join either the 11.00 or 15.00 submarine tour. The yellow Seascope submarine will take you three to five meters under the water surface and pass very close by the most beautiful reefs. The guides will introduce you to the fantastic underwater kingdom whilst sitting comfortably in your personal swivel chair in a safe air-conditioned area. Visiting the Sharm El Maya Bay, you are sure to see so much. The seascape has a fully transparent-glassed cabin so you will enjoy exceptionally clear panoramic views of the extraordinary underwater world. It is designed that each passenger has an individual observation window for viewing outside the wonderful underwater world. You will see the splendor of colorful corals and an unbelievable variety of fish.

It feels like being in an aquarium

OK, but rather expensive.
Booked through the hotel rep at £40 each including transport. You got about 40 minutes actual underwater time. It was good for the non-swimmers but you didn't see much more fish varieties than snorkelling the hotels' house reef. We thought it a bit expensive and wouldn't do it again if we came back to Sharm.

Good trip with younger children, take money for a drink before hand if you want
Did this trip via Tui with a 7 and 8year old. Before boarding there is about a 20-30mins wait in the shade where you can get a drink, the waiters aren't too much hassle and we went prepared for this so enjoyed freshly made juices. There are souvenir shops too, no hassle at all, and there was a camel if you wanted a ride. There was also someone selling a guide to the fish for £3 (no haggling) which we got so the kids could be entertained if needed. On board there was a good amount of shade upstairs and then when we were allowed down there were seats for everyone and it was air conditioned. The sea was a bit choppy (check the weather before going) so one child got sea sick, I should have given him travel pills before hand. Plenty of fish to see, initially it was on the left but there was plenty to see on the right too. Transfer took 20mins, cafe 30mins, 20mins to get to the reef, 45mins of fish and then back again. There is a clean toilet on board. Our tour guide did not give us any information about the fish which would have been nice, even with the fish guide that we had bought. But he gave us lots of information about the area on the transfers. Overall I am very happy we did the tour because we haven't had much luck with snorkeling and the tour itself was just the right length with younger children.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience to see the coral life in SharmEl Sheikh. Spectacular fish/coral to see from the glass bottom submarine type boat. Booked via Tui so was well organised in terms of pick up, drop offs etc.

Don't bother, not worth money, time and effort
Not very impressed, forced to buy drinks and souvenirs on waiting for boat, boat stinks of diesel fumes, couldn't see no fish if on the right side of boat , all over in 20 minutes, for the money was a waste of time and effort
