Art walk 2/18/2026
Angel was our guide and was just so kind and very informative not only on art but the history of a lot of the murals during the years. Took us thru wonderful neighborhoods and a few great small studios where artist do their work. Highly recommend it

A walk well worth taking
Wonderful and most informative walk and talk in two neighborhoods in Oaxaca. Our guide Christian was knowledeable and pasionate about showing us the lesser visted places in the city and providing us with an interesting socio-political context for the art we were seeing.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed exploring the neighborhoods and learning more about the art and its context. Christian will be happy to hear your feedback. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon!

Street Art is Oaxaca Culture
The tour led by Anna was full of cultural information from the varied mural art. Anna is very passionate about this art, and many of her pieces are on the walls. While a long hike, it was paced well. Coyote gave us water, trail mix, and we stopped at a street food “abuela” stand for memelas! Recommended!

Fun Bike Tour
This was a fun bike tour to see some of the murals around town. It says walking tour, so don’t get caught by surprise when they pull out the bicycles. I wasn’t dressed for biking, but it worked out. I’m 61 and haven’t ridden a bike in 40 years, so it was a little wobbly at first. You will see some interesting art and our guide gave us a lot of history and explanation that we otherwise would never have known. Highly recommend this tour, but beware, there are some hills, so only do this if you are moderately fit
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about your experience with Coyote Aventuras. Every comment like this helps us a lot! Maybe was a mistake in the panning but we appreciate that you had a great time, life is about taking the best adventures. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Great walking street art tour
We really loved this walking tour- it was a highlight of our time in Oaxaca City and a wonderful way to get to know the city and its creativity better. Shy (Shay?) was a great guide- really knowledgeable and well-informed, with a lot of personal knowledge of the artists. The dozens of street murals we visited are spectacular - all the better with the deeper cultural background Shy brought to them. She was also really pleasant, thoughtful, and gave us some good tips about other places to visit.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review about your experience with Coyote Aventuras. Every comment like this helps us a lot! We hope to see you soon and, again, thank you!

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Street Art Walk: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oaxaca City.
How much does Street Art Walk cost?
+
Prices start at $1050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oaxaca City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Street Art Walk take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oaxaca City is not rushed.
Is Street Art Walk worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oaxaca City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Street Art Walk?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Street Art Walk suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Street Art Walk?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oaxaca City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oaxaca City and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Street Art Walk start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oaxaca City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oaxaca City?
+
On Outty we rank every Oaxaca City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include AUTHENTIC OAXACA CULTURAL FOOD TOUR, eat like a local., Hierve el Agua 2.5 hours, Mitla, Tule, Rugs and Mezcal for a Day, Traditional Oaxaqueña Cooking with Grandma's Recipes. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oaxaca City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oaxaca City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
