It was a great tour of Downtown Cairo with lots of insights into the culture and history of the district. Lamiaa was super warm and could answer all questions and recommend us other places in Cairo. We enjoyed walking around the city with her.

We did a walking tour of downtown Cairo with our guide, Lamiaa, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. What made this tour stand out was how Lamiaa shared Cairo’s more "recent" history with such passion and depth. It was fascinating to learn how the city we see today has been shaped not just by its ancient past, but by layers of history that have unfolded since then such as its colonial influences, architectural evolution, and political movements. Her storytelling brought the streets of downtown Cairo to life in a completely unexpected way. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to go beyond the typical tourist itinerary and understand the heartbeat of the modern city. Lamiaa’s knowledge and enthusiasm made it one of the highlights of our trip. We ended the walk with some refreshing sugar cane juice, the perfect way to wrap up a great experience - highly recommended!
