A trip of a lifetime
Four of us ladies had a once--in-a-lifetime tour with Memphis Tours and our incredible guide, Reem Khaled. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. Reem was so knowledgeable, kind and fun! If you have dreamed of seeing the pyramids and visiting the new Grand Egyptian Museum -- now is the time to go. We felt safe and cared for our entire trip. Wow!! I can't say enough about this tour. I've been to Egypt twice before and this trip was the BEST. Get on a plane and go to Egypt. Be sure to request Reem, as she will make your trip as special as ours was.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly honored to have been part of your unforgettable Egypt experience. Your kind words about Reem Khaled mean a lot to us, and we’re delighted that she helped make your journey so special. All about the Memphis Tour experience
Seif and Saeed were very kind throughout the whole trip and shared with us all their knowledge about Egypt. All the tours were guided in portuguese, which helped us connect even more with the places we visited. Memphis picked us up every day in the hotel and had great wifi connection inside the vehicles. They took a lot of great photos of me and my girlfriend as well. We were very pleased and will definetily recommend their services to friends and family.
Response from the operator: Dear Felipe, Thank you for sharing your comment about the trip with us. These amazing words helps us and support us in our job. We are happy to read that our guides helped you and made your trip wonderful. We hope to see you again as soon as possible to discover other destinations.

A magical, fun, and heartwarming trip – it exceeded all expectations!
My trip to Egypt was simply incredible, and a huge part of that is thanks to the wonderful team at Memphis Tours! From the moment I arrived at the airport, I was warmly welcomed and perfectly taken care of by Mohammed Taha, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional. During my trip, I accidentally left my precious papyrus artworks on the flight from Luxor to Cairo, something that deeply upset me, as I had already considered them lost. But thanks to Mohammed, who went far beyond what was expected of him, I was able to get them back! He personally took care of everything, coordinating each step with incredible calm, empathy, and dedication. He didn’t rest until the issue was completely resolved ❤️ Mohammed truly exceeded every possible expectation. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for people are remarkable. He is one of those rare individuals who make you feel safe and cared for, even far from home. I am deeply grateful to Memphis Tours for the outstanding service and to Mohammed Taha for his extraordinary help, compassion, and commitment. Thanks to you, my trip to Egypt became one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences of my life. 🇪🇬✨
Response from the operator: Thank you, 721juliannew ! We're thrilled to hear that Mohammed Taha made your Egypt tour so enjoyable. We hope to see you again and to use our services again in all our destinations. Your recommendation means a lot to us.

Very trustworthy agency with great guides
We used Memphis Tours for our entire week in Egypt starting in Cairo, then in Aswan, Abu Simbel and on the Nile tour to Luxor. They were very responsive, prompt, well planned, very helpful with everything (with the exception of not booking first class on the domestic flights that was requested). Our tour guides, Mohammad in Cairo, and Abdul in Abu Simbel were extremely knowledgeable and great. The photo shooting with the camels at the Pyramids is a must option that left us with wonderful photos.

MARVELOUS MEMPHIS TOURS
My friend and I booked the 10 day tour that included: Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and Hurghada. The experience was superb. The lodging was great. We felt completely safe the entire time. 1. Cairo - pyramids and local museum. 2. Aswan and Luxor Temples and King Tut 3. Hurghada Red Sea Cruisre and desert excursion. From my initial contact with Nayera to my final flight back home, Memphis Tours was both friendly and professional always responding to my inquiries in a timely fashion. The vehicles were modern and comfortable and the drivers were always timely and courteous. Our guides were extremely competent and attentive. Special thanks to guides Rhema, Ibrahim Elghany who were marvelously helpful. Mansoon Mahummad - Aswan and Luxor whose knowledge and enthusiasm was off the charts! Also guide Ibrahim Mohamed was very helpful and went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend Memphis Egyptian Tours!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Stopover Tour of Cairo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.
How much does Stopover Tour of Cairo cost?
+
Prices start at $93 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Stopover Tour of Cairo take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.
Is Stopover Tour of Cairo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Stopover Tour of Cairo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Stopover Tour of Cairo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Stopover Tour of Cairo?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Stopover Tour of Cairo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cairo?
+
On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
