A great paddling and sauna experience
This was an amazing experience on all fronts. Once we knew we were going to be in Stockholm, we went on line to find an "outdoor" experience and this delivered 5+ stars. Communication from the office and operator was great. It turned out that we were the only couple that booked that day (a tuesday) and ended up with a private tour. The drive from Stockholm to the center was fine (about 35 minutes). The gear was first rate. We had worn the suggested warm clothing (it was April) and the dry suit and boots did the job. Raquel was a great guide. Not only did we go paddle around several islands, but we really got a feel for people living on and around the islands. A Fika stop for coffee and cookies was perfect. We ended up paddling for about 3 hours and then came back for a traditional Swedish sauna with several plunges in the cold water. A perfect way to end. Raauel then drove us to Vaxholm and recommended a great coffee and pastry stop before we took the ferry back to Stockholm (about 75 minutes). This was another great way to see the countryside. Cannot recommend the trip enough!
Response from the operator: We are absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a great time with us! Our team's main goal is to create an unforgettable experience out here in the archipelago :). It is also awesome to hear that you had a positive experience with communication with our office staff as well! Please come join us again for another adventure if you're ever back in the area!

Excellent tour kayaking in tbe archipelago
We had such a fun afternoon kayaking in the sunshine around the archipelago. Our guide, Asker (hope I spelled it correctly) was very welcoming and a wonderful host. All equipment required was included, spare layers, hats, gloves, drysuits etc and everything was very clean and in great condition. The kayaking was tailored to our experience (intermediate) and we even managed to have fika in the fort, which was wonderful. Overall, an excellent experience which we would thoroughly recommend
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with our team. If you're ever in the mood for another kayaking adventure you are more than welcome back!

An incredible Stockholm kayak adventure
We had the most amazing morning! Raquel was our guide and she was so experienced, knowledge and fun. The kit and kayaks were all high end. We didn't get cold. Safety was priority. We got to see so much and take in incredible views and different sized islands. The Fika was so good. We did an ice dip and sauna after. We caught the train and bus from Stockholm. It was so easy, convenient and cheap. This is a must to do!!!
Response from the operator: We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your archipelago adventure with our team! As a team, we always strive for a safe, yet adventurous experience. If you're ever in the mood for another adventure, we'd love to have you back!

A surprisingly perfect experience
We did a winter kayaking adventure as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and although it sounded a bit crazy when I first saw it, the experience was absolutely amazing! The staff prepared us so well that it felt extremely pleasant and comfortable, even in winter conditions. Everyone we met there was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us instantly want to come back and try more of the activities they offer. Highly recommended! ❄️🚣♀️
Response from the operator: Hej Magdalena! Thank you so much for your review! We are so happy to hear that you had such a great time with us during your husband's birthday. We know the activity can seem daunting at first, but we do our very best to take care of you every step of the way. We're so glad we were able to curate that feeling of comfort and safety for you. We look forward to seeing you guys for another adventure when you find yourselves near the archipelago again! Thanks again for your review, it really helps us know where we shine! Hope to see you again in the future. Lucie and Skärgårdens Kanotcenter Team

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Stockholm.
How much does Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $126 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Stockholm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Stockholm is not rushed.
Is Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 159 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Stockholm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience?
+
Around 56 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Stockholm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Stockholm and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Stockholm: Winter Kayaking, Swedish Fika and hot Sauna Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Stockholm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Stockholm?
+
On Outty we rank every Stockholm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Stockholm: Walking Tour of the Old Town, Best of Stockholm: Small Group Walking Tour (Max 10, 3 Hours), Vasa Museum Guided Tour, Including Ticket & Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Stockholm?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Stockholm?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
