Highlight for the visit to Stockholm
An absolute highlight of our short trip to Stockholm. René organized the tour very well and took care of us in a very personal and warm way. The route was perfectly tailored to the weather and conditions, the atmosphere on the water was beautiful, and the authentic fika was a special finishing touch. An all-around successful tour that we can recommend without reservation. Many thanks, dear René, for this unforgettable experience!
Response from the operator: Vielen lieben Dank für die schönen Worte! 😊 Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht, euch durch den Schärengarten zu begleiten. Umso schöner zu hören, dass euch die Tour so gut gefallen hat.

The highlight of my Stockholm trip
This sunset kayaking tour was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Stockholm. After a short drive from the city, we arrived in the beautiful Stockholm Archipelago, where the scenery was simply stunning. Paddling through the calm waters as the sun began to set was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, René, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Before we got on the water, he gave a thoughtful and easy-to-understand introduction to paddling techniques and safety, which made everyone feel comfortable and confident, regardless of experience. As if the tour itself wasn't amazing enough, we got incredibly lucky on the drive back and spotted two moose right next to the road! René immediately stopped so we could take photos, making the experience even more special. If you're visiting Stockholm and want to experience the incredible beauty of the archipelago, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: This one really made my day, thank you! I’m so happy the evening in the archipelago became such a special part of your Stockholm trip. And spotting two moose on the way back was a pretty perfect ending 😊

Amazing experience
Great tour and very pleasant guide. Since we were the only participants, René adapted the tour a little bit to match our level and interests. Even in the pouring rain, the landscape is wonderfull and peacefull.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Caro, for sharing your experience! It's fantastic to hear René made the tour special for you despite the rain. We’re happy you enjoyed the peaceful landscape and tailored adjustments!

Had such a wonderful time! Our guide was attentive, helpful and engaging. The views and sounds were calming and relaxing. And the fika break was perfectly timed and made the experience that much more special. I wouldn't hesitate to do this again.
Response from the operator: We're so glad you enjoyed the experience and appreciated the guide’s efforts. It's wonderful to hear the fika break added to your adventure. We'd love to welcome you back anytime!

Great experience
Francisco was a very patient guide as we got fitted for our kayaks, which was the hardest part of the trip. I’ve never kayaked on open water like that, and he was very reassuring. It was a relaxing paddle with a nice fika. It was a slightly windy day, but the small bumps/waves were manageable.
Response from the operator: Hi Kara, Thank you so much for the awesome review! I am glad to hear that you had such a great Archipelago trip with Francisco 😀

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Stockholm.
How much does Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika cost?
+
Prices start at $1900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Stockholm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Stockholm is not rushed.
Is Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Stockholm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Stockholm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Stockholm and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Kayak Tour in the Stockholm Archipelago + Swedish Fika start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Stockholm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Stockholm?
+
On Outty we rank every Stockholm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Stockholm: Walking Tour of the Old Town, Best of Stockholm: Small Group Walking Tour (Max 10, 3 Hours), Vasa Museum Guided Tour, Including Ticket & Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Stockholm?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Stockholm?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
