A real favorite
Frankly, nothing to complain about. St. Stephen's Cathedral is magnificent, whether viewed from the outside with its iconic colorful tile roof, or once inside. A must-see in Vienna, we loved it. If you only see one monument in the city, this is it.

Superb
St. Stephen's Cathedral… clearly impossible to miss, but above all impossible not to go inside 😅 Even from the outside, it is imposing. The colorful roof, the Gothic details, the size… you may have seen photos, but in person it remains impressive. Inside, the atmosphere changes instantly. It’s much darker, calmer, almost a bit solemn. It contrasts with the outside and gives a real “wow” factor when you walk in. You can also go up one of the towers, and there… a little cardio session 😅 but the view of Vienna is well worth the effort. Even if you’re not particularly into churches, this one is a must-see. It’s the kind of place where you really feel the history of the city. In short, a must-visit… and for once, it’s not just a word ✔️

A detailed tour of many of the old churches of the Vienna
Dave set up the order of the churches in this tour to ensure we built on the knowledge at each stop and further emphasizes what we learned at prior stops. He has detailed knowledge each site and could tie that into local history. All of the churches and cathedrals we visited as gems in their own way, but the visit to the beautiful Karl’s church, which includes a view of Vienna from the roof, was a fitting cap to a wonderful tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Samuel, Thank you for your positive feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our tour and had a great experience with our guide Dave! We hope that you will use our services again in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back on another tour! Best regards. Rosotravel Team

How much does St Stephen's Cathedral, Top Churches of Vienna Old Town Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $246 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does St Stephen's Cathedral, Top Churches of Vienna Old Town Tour take?
+

Is St Stephen's Cathedral, Top Churches of Vienna Old Town Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule St Stephen's Cathedral, Top Churches of Vienna Old Town Tour?

+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Vienna?
+
On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Vienna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Vienna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
