    Good show, but terrible organisation

The show itself was nice, and all the musicians, singers, actors and the conductor did their job very well. Thank you. I just don’t understand how a “privileged lodge” costing €300 for two people can mean being seated directly behind a column with a limited view. It was frustrating and, of course, spoiled the experience. I didn’t buy the cheapest option. I paid for quality, comfort and the best possible experience — and I didn’t get it. Hence, the organisation was disappointing. Sorry, but I would not recommend this experience to others if they want to avoid paying a premium to watch a column.

    Absolutely fabulous show

Show was incredible. My only concern was that TripAdvisor did not provide the correct address. Show was close to the address but we didn’t know where to go. I went to a restaurant and asked for help. Lo and behold, I was at the correct location. Name of the place is The Mirage!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the show. We are sorry that you had some trouble finding us. We will take that in consideration.

A Wonderful Evening from Start to Finish

What a wonderful evening! We visited as a family and enjoyed every minute. The three hours flew by. The orchestra was excellent, but the soprano truly stole the show. Her voice was absolutely stunning and she gave a beautiful, emotional performance that made the evening even more special. The conductor kept the audience engaged with great enthusiasm, and together with the dancers and musicians they created a warm, lively atmosphere that never felt formal or boring. The dinner was very good, and everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. After dessert, the violinist brought the whole room to life. Our son couldn’t resist getting up to dance, and before long many other guests joined in, even forming a conga line through the venue. It was such a joyful and unforgettable ending to a fantastic evening. If you’re looking for a fun and elegant night out in Vienna, I can highly recommend this show. We would happily do it again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt and wonderful review! We are truly delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed every moment of your evening with us. It is a great pleasure to know that our orchestra, artists, and the atmosphere created such a memorable experience for you. We are especially happy that our soprano’s performance touched you so deeply, and we will gladly share your kind words with her and the entire ensemble. It is wonderful to hear that our conductor, dancers, and musicians helped create a lively and welcoming atmosphere where everyone could feel part of the show. We are also pleased that you enjoyed the dinner and that our team contributed to a smooth and enjoyable evening. The joyful finale with our violinist and the dancing guests is exactly the kind of unforgettable moment we love to create. Thank you for your warm recommendation. We would be delighted to welcome you and your family back again for another special evening in Vienna!

Strauss Dinner Show: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.

How much does Strauss Dinner Show cost?

    +

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Strauss Dinner Show take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.

Is Strauss Dinner Show worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 439 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Strauss Dinner Show?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Strauss Dinner Show suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Strauss Dinner Show?

    +

Around 154 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Strauss Dinner Show start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vienna?

    +

On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vienna?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vienna?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
