St. Augustine Night of Lights
Not worth the money. You can see it all for much cheaper or even for free. It isn’t that big of an area. And the driver, although pleasant, continually talked about his family history!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. The Nights of Lights display is a citywide public event that anyone can enjoy walking or driving through. Our experience is designed to offer a comfortable, small-group guided ride through the historic district so guests can relax and enjoy the lights without dealing with crowds, parking, or long lines that are common during the season. Our tours are conducted on quiet electric carts with small groups of up to 7 guests, creating a more personal experience compared with larger trolley tours that can have long wait times and bigger crowds. Your guide is also a local historian whose family dates back to the 1800s in St. Augustine, and many guests appreciate hearing stories and insights from someone with deep local roots while exploring the city during the holiday season. We appreciate you joining us and wish you safe travels.

Night of Lights
I thought it was pricey for just 45 minutes but all the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and the lights were beautiful.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining our Nights of Lights tour and for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful lights and found our staff pleasant and helpful. Our experience is designed to offer a more personal ride with only up to 7 guests on a quiet electric cart, which many visitors enjoy compared to the larger, crowded trolley tours. The pricing is actually comparable, but with a much more intimate experience where you can comfortably see the lights without the crowds. Everything in travel is best experienced through comparison, and we always encourage guests to try different options while visiting St. Augustine. ✨🎄

Scooter was fantastic!!
We had an excellent experience on this tour. It’s focused on enjoying the lights and music rather than full narration, which made it peaceful and easy to enjoy. Scooter was fantastic — friendly, engaging, and happy to point out sights as we passed them. His personality really added to the experience, and we never felt rushed. A wonderful evening overall.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the relaxed ride and the beautiful Nights of Lights. Scooter truly enjoys sharing the sights of St. Augustine, and as a local whose family dates back to the 1800s, he loves pointing out the details that make the city special. We’re happy you had such a peaceful and memorable evening! ✨

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Augustine.
How much does St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart cost?
+
Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Augustine usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Augustine is not rushed.
Is St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 112 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St Augustine, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart?
+
Around 39 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Augustine can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Augustine and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does St Augustine Nights of Lights Tour on Premium Electric Cart start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Augustine within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in St Augustine?
+
St Augustine is walkable history: Castillo de San Marcos, Spanish quarter walking tours, trolley loops, lighthouse climbs and some of the best-attended ghost tours in the country. Guide storytelling quality is the main variable. On Outty we rank every St Augustine experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Medieval Torture Museum with Ghost Hunting and Tiny Art Gallery, St. Augustine's Wine, Cocktail and Food Experience, Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure of St. Augustine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit St Augustine?
+
February to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in St Augustine?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
