Well Genopoly was one of thousands of indentured servants who arrived here on the promise of owning land in exchange for unpaid labor. Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine
Its congregation is as old as this city. How can that be? Well, on that fateful day back in 1565 when the Spanish conquistador planted the Spanish flag on this shore, a priest approached him after his victory. Father Lopez carried a hefty cross on his shoulders and offered it to the conqueror, all the while singing a hymn.

Worth it!
We had an incredible time exploring Saint Augustine. Starting form the Castillo to other historic spots, the tour gave deep insights and historic facts on them. The narration was engaging and the directions too were clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend this tour and looking forward to try more of these tours.

St Augustine Fort
It was only for the outside of the Fort and a little of the main old street. It was OK but we thought we were going inside.
