    Date Night and Ghost Tour

Me and my wife did a date night and the group was small with only two other couples which made the tour a better experience. Our guide was Emily and she did a fantastic job of going over the history of each location and then providing ghost stories that were historical with articles written as well as from other guests that had taken the tour. Growing up in the Phoenix area but not really doing anything in the downtown area, this was a great history tour with the locations. With each location having paranormal stories and given ample time to do some investigations of our own, the night was great. The favorite places on the tour for me and my wife was at Hanny's with the haunted doll collection in the basement area and visiting Melinda's Alley and the location of the only red-light district in Phoenix in the early 1900s. With the tour culminating at Melinda's Speakeasy, it was the perfect ending to have a drink, toast a shot to Melinda, and share other paranormal stories with the other couples in the "seance room". Although we didn't see or feel any ghosts, the EMF detectors did get a few spikes where there was no energy or cell phone interference at St. Mary's Basilica, Melinda's Alley, and the seance room. Thank you Emily and I plan to do another tour with Get Ghosted Phoenix.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for leaving a review and we are so happy you enjoyed the history and haunts of downtown Phoenix. It’s always fun to get a little activity on the ghost hunting equipment! We look forward to seeing you on one of our upcoming tours. Thank you again!

    Wonderfully special and spooky!

Grea! easy booking, communication, updates and directions on meeting location, etc. The tour itself was wonderfully and professionally guided! Full of great history, knowledge, and of course spooks!👻 Finishing off at the Speakeasy was just icing on the cake.🎂 Highly recommend! Howard C

Response from the operator: Hi Howard! Thank you so much for leaving review. We are so thrilled you enjoyed your experience from the booking to the haunted speakeasy and everything in between! We hope to get ghosted with you on a future tour.

    Great Date Night

We had such a great time! My husband and I met another couple here for the Spirits, Spooks and Speakeasy Tour. It was a uniquely crafted, informative, fun, ghost hunting time that ended with a delicious drink as a night cap! Our tour guide was entertaining, informative and so engaging! We also had contact with 2 male spirits at the Basilica. The ghost hunting equipment provided was quality! Highly recommend for an exciting date night!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for leaving a review! We are so happy you and your husband chose our tour for date night! We are also happy you got activity at the Basililca! That is defintiely one of the most haunted locations in DTPHX. We hope to see you and your husband again on one of our new, upcomig tours!

    So. Much. Fun.

Erika and Valentina were such wonderful guides. Not only did we get really fun history on all of the spots that we stopped at, but the vibe was totally upbeat and positive. Ghost tours can get really into the macabre but here we would instead focused on positive and creating joy. It really brought the group up and we had a great time. Always vote for more history when we can, but playing with EMF and dowsing rods really made the experience special. Recommend !

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for leaving a review! We are so happy you enjoyed the haunted and historic hybrid! We do cover history on most other tours, however this tour is straight to the spooks and spirits! We hope to see you again on on of our new tours!

Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phoenix.

How much does Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phoenix usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phoenix is not rushed.

Is Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phoenix, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phoenix can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phoenix and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Spooks, Spirits and Speakeasy Ghost Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phoenix within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phoenix?

    +

Phoenix runs on desert experiences: sunrise hot air balloon lifts over the Sonoran, Camelback and South Mountain hikes, off-road Tonto Forest tours and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Heat safety and start times decide whether a tour is good, so we weight timing detail in the ranking. On Outty we rank every Phoenix experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kayaking the Salt River Foxtail Trip, Grand Canyon with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon Van Tour, Phoenix Hot Air Balloon Ride at Sunrise. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phoenix?

    +

November to April. Summer tours run at dawn or not at all. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phoenix?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
