    Super fun great people.

This place is great. They have wonderful people and the whole reservation process was easy and very informative and a bunch of questions before we left and they addressed all of them. We even wanted to shorten up the trip a little bit and they accommodated that. Teal was our guide and she was awesome. You felt like she was out there having as much fun as you were. Everything was super safe and fun one of the best bargains in all of Moab.

What the doctor ordered: Sore muscles and relaxed minds

We chose to use kayaks and had a blast! It was just enough navigable rapids for us. A little thrill- a lot of relaxing! As we get better we will move up the risk level, but this one was perfect for us, not a snooze fest but also not a heart attack! ❤️

    Highly Recommend!

Had a great time with the Splish and Splash - perfect combo of relaxing, taking in the incredible scenery, and a little bit of adrenaline. Our guide, Ramie, was perfect. She shared just the right amount of instruction, history, and education. We had a blast!

Response from the operator: We’re so happy you enjoyed the Splish and Splash! Ramie is fantastic at mixing fun, relaxation, and a little excitement with her knowledge of the river and the area. Sounds like the perfect day on the water—thanks for joining us, and we hope to see you for another adventure soon!

    So much fun!

This was sooo much fun. Our guide Nate was wonderful. The paddle was great, rapids were not too big or scary which was great for our first time facing rapids on a paddleboard. Setting is priceless. Highly recommend. Bring plenty of water! The only thing that would have made this better would have been if we were able to have photos of us on the river.

Response from the operator: We’re so glad you had a blast with Nate on your first paddleboard rapids adventure! That stretch of river really is priceless, and it sounds like you handled it perfectly. Great tip on bringing plenty of water! We’ll keep working on ways to capture those on-the-water memories for our guests. Thanks for the recommendation, and we hope to see you back out there soon!

    Beautiful locale, exciting paddling

Gorgeous scenery and paddleboarding through rapids…the perfect combination! Unlike flat-water paddling, the paddle is used more as a guiding rudder than as a propulsion device as the river carries you through the rapids. We loved it!

Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River cost?

    +

Prices start at $93 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Splish and Splash: Stand Up Paddleboarding on the Colorado River start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
