10 out of 10! Visiting or local

I really enjoyed this true crime, ghost tour! The tour guides are incredible story tellers. They kept the tour group engaged, laughing, and definitely freaked out! I had fun seeing different parts of downtown and learning about some of Flagstaff’s spooky history. I would recommend to anyone, visiting or local!

Response from the operator: We’re so glad to hear that our guides were extra-specterly phantastic and that you enjoyed your tour.  Stay Spooky!

    Fascinating history of Flagstaff

I've lived in Flagstaff for 25 years but never really understood the history. Freaky Foot Tours is ending that! I particularly enjoyed learning about the bordellos, and the goings on of the folks who "opposed" them.

Response from the operator: It thrills us to hear about your spooktacular time, thanks for booking with Freaky Foot Tours and taking the time to leave this review!

    Southside surprised me.

I've lived in Flagstaff for 6 years and I'd heard about the ghosts who roam this beautiful town but most stories involved the historical hotels downtown NOrth of the tracks; I was pleasantly surprised to hear stories Not involving hotels AND South of the tracks. I'll never look at Southside the same.

Response from the operator: Phantastic!  Are spirits are soaring that you enjoyed your spooky tour!

    Spooky Southside Stroll

This Southside tour is a great addition to the Freaky family. A longtime Flagstaff resident, I learned so many news things about the rough and tumble south-of-the tracks neighborhood! And, the research continues!

Response from the operator: Many thanks for your phantasmic feedback!

    So fun!

This was such a great experience! James was such a wonderful host and explained all kinds of cool pieces of history and information about various paintings and lives and buildings around the Southside of downtown Flagstaff. I've lived here for almost 20 years and learned so much! Definitely gave me a whole new appreciation for the already massively loved little town I live in 💜 Thank you so much for such a great time! I can't wait to take some of my visiting friends on a tour next time they come into town!

Response from the operator: It thrills us to hear about your spooktacular time, thanks for booking with Freaky Foot Tours and taking the time to leave this review!

How much does Southside Flagstaff Haunted History, True Crime, And Ghost Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Flagstaff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Southside Flagstaff Haunted History, True Crime, And Ghost Tour take?

    +

Is Southside Flagstaff Haunted History, True Crime, And Ghost Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Flagstaff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Southside Flagstaff Haunted History, True Crime, And Ghost Tour?

Is Southside Flagstaff Haunted History, True Crime, And Ghost Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Flagstaff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Flagstaff and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Flagstaff?

    +

Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet between the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Antelope Canyon: day tours to all three, plus Lowell Observatory stargazing and Route 66 history walks. On Outty we rank every Flagstaff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Day Tour from Flagstaff, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Day Tour from Flagstaff, Grand Canyon Tour from Flagstaff. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Flagstaff?

    +

May to October for canyon trips, December to March for snow at Snowbowl. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Flagstaff?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
