    Attention rip-off tour

An absolute cheek. South tour Corfu booked on 27.08.24. For 110€ per person. First stop was right after 15 min drive after first photo top at a cafe. None of the 10 guests wanted to make a stop. Then wi8r should pay. It then went to a total of 3 more photo tops. Which were okay, too. But there was no swim stop that was supposed to be part of this tour. On request to the tour guide Schauinsland the next day, it was said that one had been at a photo top for too long, so it had failed. Curious just, the whole trip should go until about 17 - 17:30, but we were already back at the hotel at 15:40 and the drivers said to us that there would never be a bathing stop on this tour. Next shock for us the food, at the end of the tour. There was a six table and a four table. Eat it and watch out now.....a small bowl of salad with some zaziki and bread first. Divided by six. Then came something like a currywurst, about 8 small sausage slices with sauce divided by 6. Then there were small plates of bratwurst about 10 fries and 2 cucumbers and a tomato divided by 6. And another plate like that with four little dumplings in tomato sauce divided by 6. The same portions were also served at the four table. On the complaint the next day to the tour guide of Schauinsland, we were only brushed off as we were Tui guests and would not have to book through Schauinsland. This tour is a rip-off. One wonders who now had more of the 1100€, the tour operator Schauinsland or the Uncharted Escapes team. All who read this, I warn against this tour, even at Schauinsland I would never book anything again. It greets a frustrated family Kuvach

Response from the operator: Dear Kuwatsch, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be when a tour doesn't align with what you were hoping for. We strive to ensure that all our guests are well-informed about our tours, and we take great care in providing detailed descriptions and itineraries across all our online sales channels, through our agents, and in our printed materials. We do not mention swimming as part of our South Corfu tour, photo stops and menus are fixed and this is consistent across all platforms. We never change itinerary neither we exclude stop if we delay somewhere... It seems there may have been some confusion regarding the tour details, possibly due to a misunderstanding from your booking agent. We operate our tours according to the itineraries and descriptions agreed upon with our agents, and we always aim to deliver the experience we promise. We regret that this has affected your perception of Uncharted Escapes. We value all feedback and take your comments seriously, but we also want to ensure that any criticism is fair and accurate. If the information you received from your agent was incorrect, we encourage you to reach out to them for clarification. We would appreciate it if you could reconsider (erase) your rating as we offered what is described and posted and, if appropriate, address your concerns directly with your agent, who may have provided the misleading information. We hope this helps clarify the situation, and we are always here to assist if you have any further questions or concerns. Best regards, Manos Malaxianakis Uncharted Escapes
