About this experience
A full-day hike to one of the most impressive water falls in Albania where the water emerges straight out of the rock. Sotirë falls are two falls: one coming from higher-up, and slim. The other straight out of the rock face, broad and wild. Naturally, the falls are biggest in spring, when the melting snow of Tomorri Mountain feeds the underground currents leading to the falls. The beauty of waterfall combined with Tomorri mountain make it a great experience,we will past through authentic old villages where the life is same as 200 years ago. Hiking to Sotira Waterfall is a travel in time adventure. The waterfall has an altitude of 100 meters and it stems from Tomorri Mountain, the ground where the waterfall flows. The trip is composed of, the car trip and the hiking part. The drive lasts around 4 hours with a 4×4 vehicle, while the hiking part lasts around 2-5 hours, according to the preferences. Best way to view the canyon
We had a nice trip. Despite the low water level in the canyon, the guides made it a wonderful experience. The canyon is most beautiful from the inside, so a canyon hike is t he best option on the summer. After the trip we also had an extended lunch.

Excellent
PERFECT! Our second excursion with 1001 albanian adventures and it's still as perfect! The Sotira's Waterfall is exceptional! The road to get there is difficult at the end and the journey takes 3 hours but you don't see it pass! Breaks along the way to observe the beautiful natural lakes and rivers of this region, a coffee break and information about Albanian culture, it's history but also discover Albanian music, exchanges always as rich with the best of the guides : Genti. Being French we were able to meet Albert the brother of our incredible guide, who speaks French and who made the experience even more unique and incredible! We recommend 100% 1001 albanian adventures. Don't hesitate! you will not be disappointed and the welcome by the agency is great!

How much does SOTIRA WATERFALL HIKING/TREKKING from Berat by 1001 Albanian Adventures cost?
+

+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule SOTIRA WATERFALL HIKING/TREKKING from Berat by 1001 Albanian Adventures?
+

How far in advance should I book SOTIRA WATERFALL HIKING/TREKKING from Berat by 1001 Albanian Adventures?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tirana?
+
On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, Berat Cooking Class- Traditional Albanian Cooking Class /By Vato. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tirana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tirana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
