What a wonderful way to see the Amalfi Coast
Vincenzo was awesome, on time, full of lovely information about the region. He picked us up on time, drove safely in his impeccably clean Mercedes. We listened to music as he showed us all of the beautiful scenic points of view, took pictures for my friends and I and put up with our endless "Oh My God this is amazing!!" He even stopped at a little fruit stand for fresh fruit and a ceramic store for us to go shopping. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

Private transer from Naples to Positano.
This was the best quality/price car service I could find for a transfer from Naples (hotel pick-up) to Positano (hotel drop off). The driver was on time, the car was clean and mostly, the driver drove safely. We never felt at risk on small twisty roads. He even called ahead to our hotel so they were waiting to pick up our luggages when we arrived. Very satisfied.

Exceeded expectations
We had both a private tour of Positano and Amalfi as well as a private transfer from Sorrento to Rome with Paolo. He was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend requesting him for your service. For Amalfi coast tour, he was very prompt and we felt safe with him driving what can be a pretty scary road. He was very knowledgeable and gave tons of information and recommendations for things to do in each place we stopped. He organized a delicious lunch for us in Praiano at Costa Diva, the food and the views were spectacular. When he found out we didn’t think we had time to see Pompeii and we were transferring to Rome in a couple days with his company, he made sure to be our driver and organize a trip to Pompeii. He set us up with a tour guide and waited for us for 2 hrs while we toured. He also organized a lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard at the base of Vesuvius (Cantina del Vesuvio), which was absolutely delicious and beautiful. He exceeded our expectations and made our trip so special. We will certainly be requesting him again when we return to Italy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

"A Truly Magical Day Exploring the Amalfi Coast with Paolo Esposito"
My wife and I enjoyed one of the most glorious days ever exploring the Amalfi coast with the ONE AND ONLY Paolo Esposito. Paolo was our driver, guide and all things Sorrento/Almalfi Coast on this magical day! We have had many guides throughout our years of travels but none can compare with the local breath of knowledge, personal connections and enthusiasm for his profession that Paolo demonstrated. The man might as well be the Mayor of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello all at once. He knows everything a tourist needs to do and see but more importantly he knows everyone a tourists needs to know in the region - Restaurants owners, boat tours, best pizza - you get the idea. Paulo is truly the real thing, the whole package, a person I now call Friend. Yes, We highly recommend him!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sorrento : Private tour of the Amalfi Coast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
