    Best Experience in Sorrento

We had such a wonderful time at Sorrento’s Tasty Garden cooking class! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and Chef Angelo was waiting for us out front, which was perfect since Google Maps had taken us to the wrong location. We chose the fish menu, and everything we made was excellent—from the shrimp appetizer and pasta with vongole and small clams native to Sorrento, to the salted sea bream and tiramisu. Angelo explained the ingredients and techniques behind each dish, demonstrated everything for us, and then let us take over. We enjoyed wine, great conversation, and lots of laughs throughout the class. Afterward, we enjoyed our meal together in the beautiful garden, which made the experience even more special. Angelo was so personable and welcoming. This was truly one of our favorite experiences in Sorrento, and I highly recommend it!

    An Unforgettable Family Cooking Experience

Our family had an absolutely unforgettable evening at Sorrento Tasty Garden! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The class was held in the most charming little cottage kitchen, which made the experience feel authentic and intimate. Our chef, Angelo, was fantastic—patient, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through making homemade pasta, delicious meatballs, and the best tiramisu we’ve ever had. He made everyone feel comfortable, whether it was their first time cooking or not. After preparing everything together, we enjoyed our meal in the beautiful garden under the stars, accompanied by wonderful local wine. It was the perfect combination of incredible food, great company, and a magical setting. If you’re visiting Sorrento, this cooking class is an absolute must. It was one of the highlights of our trip and gave our family memories we’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Angelo, for such a special evening!

    Cooking with Angelo!

We had a great time with Angelo cooking up some fun food. He has a charming personality and really made sure all of us had a some laughs. He makes sure that the eggs he uses are from happy chickens!🐔. They poured some prosecco for us as we were cooking the meal and his very cute niece Donatella helped out too! I would highly recommend this activity and the location was terrific as it is set in a very nice garden

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted you had a fun and enjoyable time with Angelo and Donatella, and that you appreciated the atmosphere in the garden. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the experience (and the prosecco too!). We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon! Kind regards, Giuseppe

Sorrento's Tasty Garden: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.

How much does Sorrento's Tasty Garden cost?

    +

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sorrento's Tasty Garden take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.

Is Sorrento's Tasty Garden worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sorrento's Tasty Garden?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sorrento's Tasty Garden suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sorrento's Tasty Garden?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sorrento's Tasty Garden start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sorrento?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
