Nice excursion but boat too crowded!

Friendly staff and nice boat, but too many people! There must have been about 50 of us, all squeezed together and stuck to each other. The obviously chaotic water descent operations, all made even more difficult by the many people unaccustomed to the sea who felt sick (we must have been 7 westerners in a group of easterners). Minimal food, compared to the day before on another excursion. The water and seabed of Ko Rok are worth a visit!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated our kind staff and found the boat beautiful. At the same time, we sincerely regret that you felt the group size was too large and that this affected your comfort during the trip. We understand that crowded conditions and water entry procedures can sometimes feel chaotic, especially when some guests are not accustomed to being at sea. The safety and well-being of all passengers is our top priority, and our team always does their best to assist anyone who may feel unwell. However, we truly apologize if the experience felt uncomfortable or overcrowded. We also appreciate your comments regarding the food. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will share it with our team to see how we can improve the catering experience. Thank you again for your honest review. We truly value your comments and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future under even better conditions. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Beautiful excursion, ruined by the exaggerated number of people on the boat!

The hike is worth it, although the price is far too high. Ko rok was the only place where snorkeling made sense, even if the corals have little color, on the other hand the water is very transparent and there are beautiful fish, especially parrot. The downside is that in the boat we were crammed like battery chickens, for the price paid it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant condition, made even heavier by the amount of people stuck to us who felt bad because of rough seas. The staff did their best, the responsibility lies with the agency.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience. We’re pleased to hear that you found the excursion worthwhile overall and that you enjoyed the snorkeling at Koh Rok. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort you experienced on the boat. We understand that overcrowding and rough sea conditions can significantly affect the enjoyment of the trip, and we regret that this did not meet your expectations, particularly considering the price paid. We truly appreciate your recognition of our staff’s efforts, and we take your comments regarding the agency’s responsibility very seriously. Your feedback is invaluable to us and will be carefully considered as we work to improve our services and ensure a more comfortable experience for our guests in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Thanks Koh Jum Sea Hunter Team

I had a fantastic day. We were with Koh Jum Sea Hunter, and it's impossible to find a more wonderful company. The entire staff is exceptional and very attentive. Several of us couldn't swim and were afraid of deep water. They accompanied us and reassured us with their floating boards. We were all able to enjoy the incredible beauty of the place. Thanks to the team, we were able to see clownfish, barracudas, parrotfish, and more. They deserve so much recognition. Thank you to them! I had a fantastic day. Unforgettable

I will never forget this trip in my life. It was one of the best snorkeling trips because of the state of the corals, the variety of fish, and organization of the trip. The guides were so friendly and ensured we were well fed and enjoying ourselves. I couldn't have asked for a better trip.

    Like cattle

Crowded on small beaches, an impressive number of tourists without counting the boats which pollute and dump the tourists. Snorkeling is no longer possible, you are parked in a demarcated pool on the edge of the beach. Honestly like cattle. I no longer see the point of all that.

Response from the operator: Dear valued customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding your recent experience. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment you may have faced during your trip. Your concerns regarding overcrowding and environmental impact are of utmost importance to us. We understand the significance of preserving the natural beauty of our destinations and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Rest assured, we are taking your feedback seriously and will work closely with our tour partners to address these issues. We are committed to providing meaningful and responsible travel experiences while minimizing the negative impacts on the environment and local communities. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve our services and ensures that we continue to uphold the highest standards for our customers. Warm regards, Oh-Hoo Team

How much does Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi cost?

    +

Prices start at $2055 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krabi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krabi is not rushed.

Is Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krabi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krabi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krabi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Snorkeling Tour to Rok and Haa Island From Krabi start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krabi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krabi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krabi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Phi Phi Islands Tour with Lunch from Krabi, Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour by Speedboat From Krabi, Railay and 4-Island Sunset Speedboat Cruise with Night Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krabi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krabi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
