Could have been fun, but we actually were not able to go.

I’m sure this would have been a nice trip. Ahead of time, I asked what time we would be finished and was told 2:00 pm, with our ship departing at 4. But when we got there, I was told 2:30-3:00. Well, our ship’s last tender left at 3:00, so we thought it best not to attend. So it was a combination of errors. Viator would not refund our money, so we weee glad to cost was low.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry for the confusion and inconvenience you experienced. We completely understand how important timing is, especially when coordinating with a cruise schedule. We sincerely apologize for the inconsistency in the information provided regarding the tour’s finishing time, and how this ultimately affected your ability to join the experience. While we’re glad to hear the cost was not too high, we regret that you were unable to attend what should have been an enjoyable trip. We also understand your frustration regarding the refund process and appreciate you sharing this with us. Your comments are very valuable, and we will review our communication to ensure clearer and more accurate information is provided to future guests, particularly those with time-sensitive travel plans. We’re very sorry again for your experience and hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you in the future under better circumstances. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

To short, to little to see and do.

To short time and to little to do or see. Snorkling was nothing compared with other experiences in Thailand, the wather was muddy and little to see. Pig Island was ok, but nothing to do..

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience felt too short and that the activities and sights did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment regarding the snorkeling conditions, as visibility can vary depending on weather and sea conditions, and we regret that it was not comparable to your previous experiences in Thailand. We appreciate your comments about Pig Island as well, and we understand that the limited activities there may not have been as engaging as hoped. Your feedback is valuable and helps us better communicate what guests can expect and where improvements may be needed. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable experience in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

    Who absolutely loves snorkeling...

If you want to snorkel, you should inform yourself beforehand if the weather conditions leave this too, otherwise man/woman could be disappointed! Big praise to the women who prepared the lunch buffet - super fine😃 thank you

    Very nice daytrip :)

Overall the trip was very nice & I’d recommend it. The only 2 minor cons are 1.) they rushed us in the morning (7:30 pickup) and then let us wait for more than an hour for the boat that leaves at 9:10 (the drive was only 5 mins). 2.) the lunch was chicken with rice, vegetarian option was only rice and veggies, so had to buy more food separatly.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your honest and balanced review. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the trip overall and would recommend it, that truly means a lot to us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in the morning. We understand how frustrating it must have felt to be rushed for pickup and then wait over an hour before departure. Your feedback is very helpful, and we will review our timing and coordination to improve the experience. We also appreciate your comments regarding the lunch, especially the limited vegetarian option. We agree that vegetarian guests should have a more satisfying and complete meal, and we will share this with our team to improve future arrangements. Thank you again for your constructive feedback, it helps us do better. We hope to welcome you again for an even smoother experience next time. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

How much does Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui cost?

    +

Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.

Is Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Snorkeling & Kayaking Trip at Koh Madsum and Koh Tan By Speedboat From Koh Samui start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?

    +

On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Koh Samui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
