What you get

    About this experience

Step aboard the Sundiver III and a friendly crew will assist you in having the most memorable and safe experiences. We have been proving this exciting and professional service to customers since 1983. The Christ of the Deep is a bucket list item that must be checked off during your visit to Key Largo. You will see the giant Christ Statue as well as hundreds of colorful tropical fish and large coral heads. Please understand the Christ of the Deep reef is a much deeper reef so if weather conditions don't allow us to visit the reef we have a back up plan of visiting nearby grecian rocks coral reef which is very shallow and protected. The last thing we want to do is travel 30 minutes all the way out to the Christ reef and have to turn around and head back to the dock with no experience at all because the current is too strong. Grecian Rock reefs is also an amazing reef flourishing with tropical fish and interesting coral. Visiting the Statue is the #1 objective if possible.

    Friend's first time....couldn't be better

We had a great time. I've been out with this group many times over the years and I always have a great time. Capt Joe and Mate Brandon give such engaging briefs that everyone pays attention and has a good laugh. Everyone, Debbie and Barb, Capt Joe and Brandon, are friendly, engaging and down to earth! Whatever you needed, they were there. The entire trip is so easy and hassle free. The time in the water is perfect since any longer and you'll be a giant prune. Everyone knows their stuff, so you have zero concerns for your safety. Need extra defog? No problem. Brandon's got you. Need a lunch recommedation? They'll send you to the local hangouts and you'll love it. The crew keeps you safe and is constantly on watch.....reprimanding the weekend boater yahoos that try to anchor on the reef while you're in the water. Nothing better than enjoying the reef without a worry in the world. Thanks!! I see people complain about needed a snorkel......but I definitely prefer my own! It's a small investment, call it a souvenir or use it for the next trip, and only your own lips have ever touched it! The boat is so clean and so well maintained and the ride is just peaceful. My friend had her first snorkel tour ever.....and I could not have wished for a better day. I'll continue to be driving down to snorkel with Sundiver any chance I have.

How long does Snorkel Tour Christ of the Deep Statue Excursion in Key Largo take?

Is Snorkel Tour Christ of the Deep Statue Excursion in Key Largo worth it?

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Key Largo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkel Tour Christ of the Deep Statue Excursion in Key Largo?

Is Snorkel Tour Christ of the Deep Statue Excursion in Key Largo suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Snorkel Tour Christ of the Deep Statue Excursion in Key Largo?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Key Largo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Key Largo and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Snorkel Tour Christ of the Deep Statue Excursion in Key Largo start and how do I get there?

    +

What are the best things to do in Key Largo?

    +

Key Largo is the dive and snorkel capital of the Keys: John Pennekamp reef trips, Christ of the Abyss snorkels, glass-bottom boats, sunset sails and backcountry eco tours. On Outty we rank every Key Largo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Key Largo Two Reef Snorkel Tour - All Snorkel Equipment Included!, Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys, Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure in Key Largo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Key Largo?

    +

December to May for clear water and calm seas. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Key Largo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
