An unforgettable day in paradise ✨
If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, booking this tour with Alex is an absolute MUST! From start to finish, the entire day was pure perfection. Alex is a wonderful guide—warm, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and simply great company to be around. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment you meet. The itinerary itself is balanced so well: you get a fun hike through beautiful scenery, plenty of time to relax and swim, and fantastic spots for snorkeling (Playa Majahuitas and Quimixto are just breathtaking!). Alex knows all the best local details, facts, and hidden spots, which makes the whole experience feel personal and unique rather than just another commercial tour. It was truly a perfect day, and Alex made it so memorable. I couldn't recommend him highly enough—10/10! Thank you, Alex! ❤️

AMAZING !
isaac was amazing as a tour guide! very relaxed but had a lot of knowledge and everything was perfect, on time and easy. it was so cool to see the local town and the hike to the waterfall was fun but definitely a few steep uphills (nothing crazy). the waterfall was great we had drinks and swam and then had a great beach lunch. recommend 100%. this was our second time doing this tour and this one was by far our favorite!!!

Scenic walk to nice waterfall
Rocco was an excellent guide. He was super friendly when we met him at the bus station. He explained how the day would go and we were on our way. Fun water taxi from Boca to Quimixto. Hike to the waterfall did have a couple of steep sections, but wasn’t difficult. Waterfall was pretty. The water was quite cold, but felt great on the feet. Nice snack and hung out there for a little while, then headed back to Quimixto. Good lunch on the beach, then back on the water taxi. Highly enjoyable. Rocco did an excellent job telling us about the area and pointing out some of the colorful birds.

A wonderful peaceful day
This was a highlight of our trip to PV. Isaac was a wonderful guide and took great care of us. I struggled to walk to the waterfall, he got us an ATV and a great price to ride it. The waterfall was quite large due to the recent rains and the water was perfect. We concluded at Los Coco- the best meal we have had in the week we’ve been here. Try the octopus and the tuna tostada- both were like eating butter! We ended up peacefully watching the ocean- just the two of us without interruption for at least 45 min to an hour. Book this tour if you want a little slice of paradise during your stay. Overall, this is an A+ experience, and Isaac made sure it was so.

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.
How much does Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.
Is Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Taco Adventure Evening Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Signature Taco Tour in PV with Vallarta Eats. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure?
+
Included: Snorkel; and transportation. Not included: Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure?
+
Meet your guide on the sidewalk in front of the OXXO store, who will welcome you with a smile and help you feel at home from the first moment. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure offered in?
+
It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to Snorkeling, hidden waterfall, and tropical adventure if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Puerto Vallarta. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
