World Class Area
This was a private tour. James our guide was amazing. He had a great knowledge of rhe Northern Beaches area. The tour was so relaxing and James would stop explain the area and give us great opurtunity to take photos. Highlight was visiting Summer Bay.
Response from the operator: Thank you Mario for your fantastic review. I am delighted that James looked after you so well and that you enjoyed the gorgeous Northern Beaches and Ku-ring-gai :) Mike

Great Tour Of Sydney North / East Shore & Ku-Ring-Gai Wildlife Park / Forest
This tour provided a great overview of the north east part of Sydney, including a visit to the Ku-ring-gai wildlife park / forest and stops at a number of beautiful beaches and inlets along the east coast, including Manly Beach, with spectacular views. Mike (the guide / driver) did a great job providing a lot of information throughout the tour about the stops, wildlife, and Sydney / Australia. The tour completes at Manly Beach, from where we took a ferry back to Sydney (~25 min. ride), which provided very nice views of the harbour and Sydney. This tour was a great way to get away from the downtown core Sydney area / common tourist sights, and to see the north / east part of the city and beautiful forest and coastal towns.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this fantastic review of your tour of the amazing Northern Beaches and Ku-ring-gai :) I am delighted you loved the scenic beauty of this very special part of Sydney. Mike

The Perfect Tour!
When in Sydney take time to get out of the CBD and experience the glorious Northern Beaches with some of Australia’s best beach’s, the stunning Kuring-gai National Park and Aboriginal sites. A massive thank you to Ian, our guide for the day, who was fantastic - I was travelling with my aged parents on what will likely be their last trip to Australia, & Ian tailored the trip to our interests and pace, and being a local, was a wealth of knowledge and knew all the hidden gems to truly showcase this stunning area that offers something for everyone - culture, beaches, wildlife, scenery, walks/hikes, sports/adventure, shops, cafes, restaurants etc. etc. - I can’t wait to return and spend more time exploring this beautiful region of Sydney.
Response from the operator: Thank you for amazing review. I am delighted that you loved the beautiful Northern Beaches, and that Ian looked after you so well. He is a passionate local guide for sure :) Mike

Amazing Private Tour of Sydney’s Northern Beaches!
Our experience was absolutely fantastic! Me and my mom were the only one that sight up that day, so it ended up being a private tour — which made the experience even more special. Our guide, Mike, was outstanding: knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. The northern beaches of Sydney are breathtaking, every stop had something unique to offer. Thanks to Mike, we discovered places we never would have found on our own. This tour gave us a whole new appreciation for Sydney’s stunning coastline. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area — it’s truly one of the highlights of our trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you Zosia for this amazing review. It was my pleasure to provide a very memorable experience for you on your Birthday :) I'm delighted you loved Sydney's gorgeous Northern Beaches. Mike

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Small-Group Sydney's Northern Beaches & Ku-ring-gai Park Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
