Rude/Disrespectful tour guide (Taner)
I went on a tour to Pammukale from Kusadasi with this agency. The tour guide (Taner) was extremely rude, inpatient and inpolite with several members of the group. The tour was in English, however, English was not the 1st language for must people within the group. There was people from India, China, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Taner has a strong turkish accent and easily got upset if anyone asked him to repeat a word. He was disrespectful, specially with some of the ladies. When a lady from India asked him to repeat a word because she didn’t understood, he yelled at her “what’s your problem, you never understand anything!”, embarrassing her on front of the group. Everyone was shocked and scared to make any questions. Even when some of us openly told him to please come down his attitude did not changed. In terms of the tour quality he barely explained things… I travel around the world and have been in over 60 countries. This is the must discourteous, disrespectful guide I have had. By the end of the tour I asked the company tour name and neither Taner or his coworkers wanted to tell me the company name. His coworker even said that Taner is independent and works for various companies so it didn’t worth to tell me the company name. I don’t know if this is true or not. But, I obviously just contacted my hotel and they gave me the company name, White Rock Travel in Kusadasi. I do not recommend this company for not been transparent and denying to provide me the information I requested. Also, I do not recommend this company for hiring people like Taner, from the conversations from his coworkers it seems everybody knows he is rude.
Response from the operator: sorry to hear you had bad experience firstly but your complain more individualy, we use many tourist guides this days because of busy season with cruise ships. we have to have work this guide first time.and actually we wanted to hear if there was problem in time and we should handle it. you all complain about guide but you dont have complain for tour.actually you didnt book with us and as you saying book with hotel. this is another big issue too because tours can book only with llicence agencies.and you saying you traveled 60 country. this is so cross information.and if you check my all reviews you are the only person complain for guide but not for service.anyway ı hope you can be more happy next holiday

A nice trip
Pammakule is gorgeous if you can look past hoards of people taking selfies and posing! From kusadasi its a good 3hrs each way and you get about 3hrs onsite. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Big down side of this tour is the trip to Dogum Onyx factory where they sell fake zultanite (sultanit) at excessive prices but never tell you that its lab create fake.
Response from the operator: Hello MissJ, Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed our tour. Can you send me your full name please? Let us check on out database. We we will keep in contact with that company about refund and we will report it police department ıf we can not find solution with them Thank you.

Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kusadasi.
How much does Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası cost?
+
Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kusadasi is not rushed.
Is Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Small Group Pamukkale Day Tour from Selcuk or Kusadası start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kusadasi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kusadasi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
