    Highly recommended!

Rosa and Sean prepared a delicious aperitivo for me, and I tried my hand at making pasta and tiramisu while enjoying the aperitivo along with some white wine. What I loved was that it wasn’t just about having fun—the two of them also gave me thorough, hands-on guidance on how to actually make everything. They also spoke slowly and calmly with me, which made me feel completely at ease — as someone who isn’t confident speaking English, I really appreciated not feeling any pressure to keep up. The pasta I made was tossed with their family’s secret tomato sauce, and it was truly outstanding. Eating it on the rooftop of the apartment made it even more special. The lemon pasta Rosa made was delicious too, and the tiramisu was fantastic. As someone visiting from Japan, getting to spend time in a local’s apartment was a valuable experience in itself, and the interior was so beautifully done that I couldn’t stop admiring it. On top of that, I was grateful they recommended some great restaurants in Naples. Thank you for such a wonderful time—next time, I’d love to explore the local markets too.

A truly special and authentic experience in Naples.

A truly special and authentic experience in Naples. I booked a small-group cooking class and, as it turned out, I was the only participant that day. What really impressed me was that Rosa and her team still offered the full experience with so much warmth, time and attention. Nothing felt shortened or rushed — quite the opposite. Before cooking, we walked through local markets and beautiful corners of Naples. Rosa showed me bakeries, cafés, cheese shops and places I would never have discovered on my own — not in a touristy way, but in a very authentic and personal way. We had coffee and pastries together, talked about life, Naples, food and culture, and I immediately felt welcome. The cooking itself was great fun, very relaxed and full of passion. On top of that, I was offered wine and cheese, and Rosa also gave me wonderful tips for my stay, including yoga and a beautiful evening event that I actually went to. For me, this was much more than a cooking class. It felt like being welcomed into real Neapolitan life for a few hours. I’m very grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic, personal and heartfelt in Naples.

    An amazing day in Naples!

We had an amazing day with Piero in Athens. He did an incredible job showing us around Naples and then welcoming us into his beautiful home to prepare our lunch. Everything we made was delicious. He exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We would not hesitate to book a Cesarine experience again and definitely would love to spend more time with Piero.

    Beyond disappointing

I write this as it was beyond disappointing and I would suggest people not to go. At the last minute the host changed the meeting point which was fine. I was super excited to cook but got there and the host was sick and sent her husband to take me. They should have canceled which would have been the ethical thing to do so that I could have chosen a different tour But instead they decided I should have a new tour that they made up on the spot included zero cooking rather was 4 hours walking around Naples which I had already done without telling me. The host spoke poor English and often had to pull out Google translate and had me very confused to what I was paying $135 usd for I want to request a refund and I don’t believe with this level of ethics they should be allowed to run tours as they have essentially stolen this money off me and been dishonest. If I could report them I would

Response from the operator: Catherine, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to read this, especially as our intention is always to provide a warm and authentic cooking experience. We sincerely apologize again for the unexpected situation that day due to illness. It was never our intention to disappoint you or to offer something different without proper clarity. We understand how frustrating that must have felt, particularly when you were looking forward to a hands-on class. Your feedback is important to us. Thank you very much,

Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small Group Market Tour & Cooking Class in Naples by Cesarine start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
