A Must Do!
This is a must do. We first toured the museum and then had dinner at the museum restaurant which set in a beautiful, lush courtyard full of various bougainvillea plants. Andy our guide was wonderful, his knowledge of and enthusiasm for Peruvian history came through in his discussion of the museum pieces. That coupled with an exceptional dinner made this one of the best tours that I’ve experienced on this trip.
Response from the operator: Hello Lurdys, thank you for sharing your experience and enjoy the details. Lima has lots of culture and good food.

Interesting museum tour with dinner in romantic garden.
Andy is a very professional, knowledgeable guide with excellent English. Andy showed us and pyramids in Lima, explained in details the differences between them. Andy has deep knowledge of history and Indian art, he is presenting the information in very interesting and pleasant manner. Unique history museum with priceless exhibition. Peruvian dinner is in romantic garden.
Response from the operator: Hello! what a perfect description of the tour and the professionalism of Andy together with the help of our driver. This is a great program for an evening in Lima. Thank you for choosing this and for sharing!

Larco museum tour
Our tour guide Nicholas was hugely informative and had great enthusiasm about the history of his country and the societies that created the amazingly well preserved artefacts on display. This was the perfect scene setter for our 21 day visit to Peru, Bolivia & northern Chile. 🙂
Response from the operator: Hola Bonita!! Thats great that you have enjoyed your visit in Lima with Nicholas. Thank you for booking this tour and for sharing. All the best

A <rushed> evening at The Larco Museum.
Lovely museum with rich history and story. My guide Nicholas was super friendly and knowledgeable. He share several pies of information about the museum, the culture around Lima and answered all questions with a high level of education . The only downside was being rushed when museum was closing when I had paid for an evening in the museum with guide. Odd this was not prearranged and we were asked to leave before enjoying the museum in a less rushed fashion.
Response from the operator: Dear Jason, thank you very much. Your review has been sent to the high authorities of the Larco Museum as in fact you are not the first one commenting this. This rush started after the pandemy when schedules where reduced. The authorities at Larco Museum organization are considering again to enlarge the opening time. We are really hoping this will be successfull in the near future, as in fact, now is rushed. Thank you for the review. Thank you for visiting Lima.

Martha is an excellent guide
The visit to the Jewish sites and the Museum with lunch were superb. Martha was a wonderful tour guide, extremely interested, knowledgable and passionate !! I will be recommending her to anyone I know that may visit Lima in the future. I appreciate all of your efforts to accommodate our group. Everything was perfect in my opinion.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lima.
How much does Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lima usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lima is not rushed.
Is Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lima and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Small-Group Larco Museum Including Dinner start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lima within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lima?
+
On Outty we rank every Lima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Peruvian Cooking Class, Local Market Tour & Exotic Fruit Tasting, The Complete Lima Experience: History, Culture & Flavors, #1 Rated Lima Cooking Class: Make Ceviche, Causa & Pisco Sours!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lima?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lima?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
