Introduction to historical events while walking in great terrain
A handsome and educational tour, the guide has good knowledge of historical events. We go bigger on eseltråkk, and it's a nice underground. If you are turvant fu it does fine with jogging shoes. There is great viewpoint over the island on top. The guide is easy and chat with and gives an insight into what it is like to stay on Rhodes. Recommended on the warmest
Response from the operator: Tusen takk for den flotte og detaljerte anmeldelsen!

Amazing Day :)
Had an amazing day. The Hiking Rhodes van came to pick me up and I felt like going on a cool school trip. Lovely group and not too large. It was a personal challenge and goal to make it up as iam not so experienced with going up a mountain. The levels in the group were different, but i managed well as there were enough stops and breaks to catch your breath, have a drink, enjoy view and get some explanations from the guide. All was kept in check at all times. Very well organised. Also prior to booking and after booking i found the communication clear, fast and pleasant. I would have liked to stay at the top a bit longer to enjoy this achievement :) My compliments to the Hiking Rhodes Team!

Great, well organized hike
Great hike! Hiking Rhodes is highly recommended. Our guide was Manuela, very cheerful and perfectly organized. At the summit there was good (Italian) coffee and biscuits, which we really appreciated. We learned a lot about the history of Rhodes. We would definitely recommend the tour.

A holiday with some friends
For the first time I have participated in guided tours with a few friends of mine. Hiking Rhodes allows you to explore and admire the nature of these amazing places by passing through woods as well as green or mostly rocky areas untill you reach terrific panoramic zones. Besides, you can see many local animals such as goats and deers. Elisa is a very well prepared guide, and, as such, organises everything meticulously. Moreover, you can visit a few quaint villages while Elisa tells you about the history and the daily life. She also offers you coffee and biscuits!

A beautiful, enjoyable hike
What an excellent hike. This walk is stunning, with many viewpoints and several places of interest along the way. Plenty of shade from the sun. Just a nice length of hike to get the blood pumping, but not too strenuous (although, be warned, there is a lot of going up!). Manuela our guide was also lovely, with a relaxed demeanour and just the right number of facts about where we were. I am so glad we booked, and would really recommend this hike and company.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Small Group Hiking from Salakos to Profitis Ilias start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
