    Above expectations

Amazing tour hosts. Will be back and will book a longer trip with them. Easy to get in touch with and book with. Then the tour was amazing because Corey has so much passion for the Canyon and has been hiking since his mid teen years. We felt at home with him touring us all afternoon and evening. The van was spacious, clean and chock full of delicious fresh fruits, a jackpot snack basket and great drinks.

Response from the operator: Thank you fpr your awesome 5-star review, Vanessa! We are so happy you enjoyed your day at the canyon with Cory! He had great time with you, as well! Thank you for touring with Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours and supporting our local business, Vanessa! We hope to see you again next time you visit northern Arizona! Sisters and husbands first visit to the south entrance to the Grand Catnon.

first, our guide and driver Cory was neat clean as well as the tour bus. There were four of us. He had so much information about the Arizona valley, the natives, in all the history related to it. There was not anything Cory did not know about this area. He has done a lot of research on it and hikes it as part of his life. The van was stocked with fruits and snacks for us to enjoy. The ride to the canyon went by so fast because we were listening to so much information about it. It’s amazing history. When welike got there, he had us put our heads down and close her eyes follow his voice to the edge of the canyon. And then he said look up. I felt I was looking at the Earth from the moon. It was incredible. we went to many places, not on the normal map of the regular tours. We finished off the tour with a lunch at El Tovar, which was spectacular. It was included in the price of our tour. Five Star all the way. Our trip back was full of more conversation, more history, more information about the wonderful state of Arizona.Five Star all the way.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your AMAZING 5-star review! We are so happy you enjoyed your day at the Grand Canyon with Cory! He had a wonderful time with all of you, as well! Thank you for touring with us and supporting our small local business! We hope to see you again next time you visit Northern Arizona! Best regards, Molly and Cory Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours

What a great way to learn and see the best spots at GCNP.

Molly was our guide for a half day tour at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. From initial booking through our final goodbyes, she was fantastic to work with. Our tour day started out cold and snowy, but Molly made the best of it. I could tell she had thoughtfully planned our excursion with both the weather forecast and our interests in mind. She is SO knowledgeable about all aspects of the park: scientific history, human history, Park operations, and Arizona in general. At each stop, Molly usually got out her sighting scope and pointed out cool features that we never would have known about. We were able to zoom in on river rapids, hiking trails, camping spots within the canyon, and cool rock formations. The service was second to none. She picked us up, promptly, from our campsite and had a comfortable van for us to ride in. She provided ALL KINDS of snacks and drinks, much to my child's delight. She was attentive to our questions, our interests, and always willing to accommodate our wishes. She helped us make some great memories and helped us learn so much more about the canyon than we ever could have in our own.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review, Lydia! I'm so happy you and Abigail enjoyed your tour! It was a cold and windy day at the canyon, and you two were troopers! It was so nice meeting you both, and I'd love to see you again next time you visit Northern Arizona! Thank you for touring with us and supporting our small local business, Lydia! I hope you and Abigail have a wonderful time on the rest of your trip! Safe travels back to KY! THE ONLY WAY TO TOUR!

We had the most incredible time with Cory & Molly!!!! It was our first time to the Grand Canyon and Antelope/ Horseshoe and both Cory and Holly were fantastic! Their knowledge, insights and experience was apparent and they taught us so much in our short time together, that we felt so enriched and educated on all things Grand Canyon, Navajo Nation, Antelope & Horsehoe. Cory and Molly were punctual, reliable and brought us to so many places we would have never known/ventured to away from crowds and to the most picturesque views you could imagine. I could not imagine our trip had we not booked with Above & Beyond and we can’t wait for our next tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your awesome 5-star review! Cory and I are so happy you enjoyed your tours of Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend! Truly "Above and Beyond"

Amazing! I don't write reviews often, but Above & Beyond is worth it. They live up to their name. Cory was incredible from the moment he picked us up in Williams until he dropped us off nearly eight hours later. He was full of knowledge and fascinating information about the geography, the history and the culture. We made five stops at different viewpoints, and he brought a high-powered telescope that allowed us to see amazing detail at the bottom of the canyon and across the other side. He made us feel comfortable - it was like spending a day with a friend. We're thinking about coming back and doing a hike into the canyon with them.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your awesome 5-star review! We are so happy you enjoyed your day at the canyon with Cory! We hope to see you next time you're in Arizona! Thank you for touring with us and supporting our local business! Best regards, Molly McKee, Owner Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Flagstaff.

How much does Small Group Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams cost?

    +

How long does Small Group Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Flagstaff is not rushed.

Is Small Group Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Flagstaff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small Group Grand Canyon Daily Tour from Flagstaff or Williams?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Flagstaff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Flagstaff and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Flagstaff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Flagstaff?

    +

Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet between the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Antelope Canyon: day tours to all three, plus Lowell Observatory stargazing and Route 66 history walks. On Outty we rank every Flagstaff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Day Tour from Flagstaff, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Day Tour from Flagstaff, Grand Canyon Tour from Flagstaff. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Flagstaff?

    +

May to October for canyon trips, December to March for snow at Snowbowl. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Flagstaff?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
