Would do it again for longer than an hour!

This is an easy breezy laid back ride into gorgeous peek a boo slot canyon. The horses just knew where to go I didnt do a thing! Guides were friendly

Response from the operator: Thank you for the review. We are so happy you enjoyed the ride. We look forward to seeing you again one day soon for that longer ride.

Ride on my friends... ride on...

The horses were super well trained! We had an excellent time and our guides were super good about making sure everyone felt good on their horse throughout the ride. It was my first time riding a horse and I had an amazing time. Highly recommend booking with them! Total time spent was a little over a hour. We had no more than 8 people on this tour and that seemed like a perfect amount. Best for all ages and with zero experience as well. The price was good for what we got to experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a wonderful time. It’s wonderful to hear that you felt the experience was a great value and suitable for riders of all ages and experience levels. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to see you back on the trail for another Southern Utah adventure!

    Tim was an amazing guide....

Tim was an amazing guide. We genuinely enjoyed our time riding. I would mention that this ride is not into Zion Park however, it does go to a really cool slot canyon. I was surprised to have walked into the canyon rather than ride but it was really cool. In total, the hour ride ended up being closer to a 40 minute ride and a 15 minute walk halfway through but a great experience! Highly recommend this company.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Jordan, for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear you had a great time riding with Tim. We appreciate you pointing out the details of the ride as well. The mix of horseback riding and a short walk into the slot canyon is something many guests enjoy. We’re happy to hear it made for a unique adventure. Thank you again for the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back for another East Zion experience soon!

    The two cowboys were very...

The two cowboys were very helpful, especially to someone like me who has not ridden a horse in decades. They even helped take our photos in the canyons. People with zero riding experience could do this. We took our children aged 10-16 with no problem.

Response from the operator: Family fun is the best! Thank you for choosing East Zion Adventures to be a part of yours. We hope to have the pleasure of serving all of you again one day.

    Insane

Absolutely amazing experience, the guides make this trip so much fun and well worth the visit. As my guide said it’s like you’re in another world.

Response from the operator: Than you for the amazing review. We are so glad you enjoyed your experience with us. We hope to see you back in the Zion area again soon.

Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zion National Park.

How much does Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zion National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zion National Park is not rushed.

Is Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 313 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zion National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride?

    +

Around 110 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zion National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zion National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small-Group East Zion White Mountain Horseback Ride start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zion National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zion National Park?

    +

Zion trips centre on the Narrows and Angels Landing, canyoneering in slot canyons, e-bike rides along the scenic drive and Bryce Canyon combination days. Permit handling and gear rental inclusions are the biggest quality differences here. On Outty we rank every Zion National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Award Winning UTV Slot Canyon Tour, East Zion 4 Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour, East Zion Crimson Canyon Hike & UTV Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zion National Park?

    +

April to May and September to October. Summer means early starts. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zion National Park?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
