    Wonderful time!

My husband and I were picked up at our hotel by Blake and we had a wonderful time! Blake was informative and a really great guy. Chena Hot Springs was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the ice museum. It was fun to watch the person making the ice glasses and we also ordered appletinis. The hot springs were very relating. They have lockers available for 50 cents and showers too so it was easy to wash off after and change into dry clothes again. We didnt want to wait around to try to see the northern lights as it was rainy. Blake drove us back to the hotel. We really enjoyed this tour and Blake as well. He was great! Highly recommend!

    Our tour guide was...

Our tour guide was fantastic and was genuinely passionate to share his knowledge and experiences living in the area. The ice museum provided very cool photo opportunities. The hot springs was definitely the star of the show. Soaking in the hot springs was a fantastic and relaxing way to start our vacation.

    Chena on the Solstice

The springs were a great way to relax on the last night of our trip. Enjoyed the pool and hot tubs, with a nice meal afterwards in the restaurant. Would recommend to remember NOT to wear sandals in the Ice Museum - fun venue but too cold for bare toes!

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fairbanks?

    +

Late August to April for aurora, June to August for midnight-sun river trips. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

    +
