Don’t recommend
They told us to wait 10min for the boat on the beach, but we waited for 1h45 for them to show up. Then they rushed us on the boat, and basically didn’t talked to us during the entire activity. It cost us $100 USD for our 2 sons, for 10 min of parasailing.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your parasailing experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points. We sincerely apologize for the long wait time on the beach. Delays can occasionally happen due to weather conditions, sea traffic, or operational logistics, but waiting that long is not the experience we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. Regarding the parasailing itself, flights are weather- and safety-dependent. Height and duration can vary based on wind conditions to ensure a safe experience. Safety always comes first, even if that means a lower altitude than expected. We’re also sorry if you felt rushed or that communication from the crew was lacking. That is not the level of service we expect from our team, and we will review this internally to improve guest interaction and overall experience. Your feedback is important to us, and we thank you for taking the time to share it.

Avoid this firm. Hyatt should not be partners with sea pro.
Day one we arrived booked the Para sailing with a sea pro rep that called himself “free Willy”, who walked through our resort pool area charged $150 USD. He wanted cash as the credit card service charge is 18%. Went parasailing and then came back to the hotel, something wasn’t right and checked with our hotel team and the cost should have been $130 was told there’s no such person called Willy in sea pro but had the what’s apps to prove otherwise and the hotel rang the number and the next day the extra $20 was returned and some silly excuse was you didn’t ask for discount. So the next day we booked deep sea fishing with Sea Pro, however this time was sure to use my card. Was promised the following in the trip, Beer Wine Rum Soft drinks $300 dollars later and a trip which consisted of Sitting inside the boat as they had over sold it to 7 people, me or my wife did not manage to lift a fishing rod for the 4 hours we were out to sea. The boat was full of diesel fumes, I liked to jet ski / power boat when on holidays so very aware of the workings of boats, have been around them as a family for many years and been on many fishing trips. This is the first fishing trip I have ever been on that I did not have a fishing rod in my hand. Terrible terrible trip, the water was probably too rough for a fishing trip and they forced the trip to gain a sale.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We take feedback seriously, but we must clarify several points, as much of what is written here is inaccurate or misleading. Parasailing booking: The individual you refer to as “Free Willy” is a licensed SeaPro representative, and your own message confirms this, as the issue was reviewed and the USD 20 difference was immediately refunded the very next day. There was no scam involved, and the situation was resolved promptly and professionally. Prices can vary depending on promotions, location, or discounts, and this was clearly explained and corrected once verified. Payment methods: Cash discounts are common across the Dominican Republic due to high card processing fees. This is not hidden, nor is it unethical, and guests are always free to pay by card if they prefer. Deep sea fishing trip: Deep sea fishing is a shared charter, not a private one, and this is clearly stated at the time of booking. Rod rotation depends on conditions, fish activity, and group dynamics. Rougher seas can affect how rods are shared, but the trip was not “forced”—conditions were within operational safety limits, otherwise the trip would have been canceled, as we routinely do when conditions are unsafe. Regarding drinks, the standard inclusions are local beer, soft drinks, and water. Wine and rum availability depends on the specific vessel and charter type, which is explained before booking. Overcrowding & fumes: All our boats operate within legal capacity limits and safety regulations. Diesel smell can occasionally occur on fishing vessels due to wind direction and engine placement, but this does not indicate negligence or danger. Finally, we find it important to state that Hyatt continues to partner with SeaPro precisely because of our transparency, safety standards, and willingness to resolve issues when they arise—as demonstrated by the immediate refund you received. We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations, but the claim that we are dishonest or unsafe is simply not accurate.

Heavenly Parasailing over Punta Cana
I had an incredible experience Parasailing with Sea Pro. They worked with our schedules and got us up and in the air and back to land on our last day in time to catch our flight. They took some lovely photos and delivered them to our camera before we got back to shore. (**Extra fee for photos) Cesar is a doll. The entire experience was peaceful and lovely and I felt safe and well taken care of. Beautiful!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🌊🪂 We’re thrilled to hear that your parasailing experience with SeaPro was so peaceful and memorable—especially being able to fit it perfectly into your last day before catching your flight. That’s exactly the kind of smooth, stress-free experience we aim to provide. We’re also glad you enjoyed the photos and felt safe and well taken care of throughout the adventure. Cesar will be so happy to hear your kind words—he truly is a gem! Thank you for choosing SeaPro, and we hope to welcome you back for another beautiful experience in Punta Cana someday. 💙

Why this scores 43
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience take?
+
Plan for about 0.1 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.1-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 0.1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sky High Thrills Parasailing Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
